The design of the pad is good but it functions poorly -It's the right shape, comfortable and easy to use. I expected the warmth to cover the whole of the knee area but it doesn't, only a small area (approx 2 square cms) heats up. So, unless the area you need to treat is exactly in that spot it is kinda useless.
