"If you want to listen to music on your runs, you know you can just use an Apply watch, right dad?" That's why my kiddos said when they saw this thing. However, this armband is not hundreds of dollars plus a monthly subscription with Verizon like an Apple watch! It's a great low-cost, old school solution for a low-cost, old school guy like me to allow me to listen to my music when running. I would have gone a size up though. I have an iPhone 12 Max with an Otterbox case. When I put it in this armband, it sticks out the top. Who cares though, it works fine on my runs and my phone is secure. Just get it a little bigger then you think you'll need and you should be fine.

I was very close to giving this product a 5 star rating, but I decided 4 stars was probably more accurate. I purchased the Tribe Sports Armband 8 weeks ago and have been using the product about 5 to 6 days a week for around 1 hour at a time. My workouts have consisted of walking outside, bike riding (road biking) outdoors, or treadmill walking, weight lifting, or elliptical training at the gym. I have also always had the armband over the sleeve of a short-sleeve shirt so it has not been subjected to much direct sweat contact.So far, this product has been great! I purchased it for the Amazon Prime price of $9.98. I consider this product a tremendous value at that price.I have a slim carrying case on my phone (Evutec Karbon SI Osprey) and a glass screen protector (Tech Armor Edge to Edge). My phone still fits in the pouch. This is a snug fit, however, so a thicker case probably will not work.Now I'd like to provide a couple of caveats. The manufacturer's claim (Tribe) that this product is water resistant is, AT BEST, a gross exaggeration. The armband can stand up to a very light rain, but anything else would absolutely soak your phone. For one thing, the pouch has two holes on the top and two holes on the bottom of the pouch for headphone jack and speaker access. Also, the majority of the armband is neoprene. This material is more like a sponge than water resident. In fact I would bet that wearing this armband in direct contact with the skin and therefore direct contact with sweat would not be a good thing. Another minor caveat that I would give is the use of the touch screen. It does work pretty well through the plastic of the pouch, but it sometimes causes minor difficulty in getting the phone to do what you want it to do. The fact that I have a glass screen protector may play a role too. Please note, Touch ID will NOT work through the plastic cover (obviously). Lastly, Tribe was a little too persistent for my tastes in trying to get their product reviewed. I don't think most products can be properly assessed until after using the product for a reasonable length of time.To summarize: I am very happy with my purchase of this product. I would recommend it to friends, but I would also make them aware of the few caveats that I have.

Works well with my iPhone ProMax - touch and function not impaired by the screen cover. Easy on and easy out for my phone and an attractive case. Great customer service too! I had to go that route to register my purchase when the supplied QR code took me to a dead link. I got a prompt response to the information I supplied and the CS rep completed the registration process for me.

I bought this for running outside so I can listen to music on my iPhone 8. It works perfectly. It feels secure and gets the job done! Also love the blue color. I am still able to change songs, etc easily through the see through part of the case during the run and it is protected from any rain that may occur during my run. Definitely recommend!

I wear this all the time when I run. It fits well, adjustable and I’ve never had an issue with it becoming loose. It protects phone from elements as you run! I’ve even worn it to cut the grass when I want to listen to my music and need my hands free!

Used this yssterday for the first time and I love it. My headphones and USB in my car fit rhe holes perfectly. The velcro is great, seems sturdy, which is the biggest issue I had with the other armbands I purchased. I was buying a new one every month. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I purchased this product for my iPhone 8. I love how it fits the phone perfectly. I’ve used other bands that feel uncomfortable or get loose during my run, even if I make them (too) tight before starting. This is the most comfortable band I’ve purchased. It is also sturdy, and stays as tight as I adjust it for the entire run. I haven’t tried it in the rain but it does keep the phone fully covered and secure, and I’ve had no issues in cold Canadian weather running. A great addition would be some form of clip or shortener for headphones as they sometimes get in the way (due largely in part to the headphone plug-in being at the base of the phone). I just wrap the headphone cord around the case to manage that issue! And finally, I love the purple colour and the product was very reasonably priced!
