Subtle, barely noticeable taste.
I'm not constantly thirsty anymore. It's a good relief. Buoy has a chronic illness support discount (35%) and they're much cheaper on the site. That being said, I'm glad I tried these through Amazon first. It has a very subtle salt taste, which is expected with minerals. Unless you let your drink sit (and it settles), you're unlikely to taste it.I have sensitive taste buds.I ordered the digestion drops on the site and hope those work as well as the reviews say.Overall: Good product. Taste barely perceptible. Helped with constant thirst.

Highly Recommend
Love these products from Buoy! I've gotten the Brain Health, the Immunity boost, the Digestion drops, and the plain Hydration (all directly from their website - it's way more affordable and their subscription service is super easy to customize and change) and they're all fantastic. You can taste just a trace of the minerals and it makes my water taste better! I add it to my coffee and tea, too. Definitely a fan!

not REALLY unflavored
They say they are unflavored but we weren't able to add to water since it did change the taste of the water too much. Great added to coffee, tea, and to soda though and can't taste it in there at all. Not noticing a huge difference yet but will keep testing for a while and if anything changes will re-send updated review.

Easy to use and refreshing
I love how easy this is to use, I like that it doesn't have a weird aftertaste. The ingredients are clean. It dissolves easily. I like how convenient it is to carry around anytime without wasting anything or extra packaging.

Can't taste them in your drink
Father-in-law needed electrolytes...bought these to hide in his tea!!! Doing the job and can't taste the difference!

NOT tasteless, I couldn't get past it.
Tasteless is an absolute joke! It made anything I tried it in taste like it had garlic in it, and an almost oily mouth feel. I tossed all the containers i ordered. I couldn't make it work. Even tried cranberry juice, and in V8.It's like adding grapefruit into any dish - it takes over and makes everything taste off.Other people may be fine with it but for me it was a waste of time and money.

Not for Regular Water
If you drink flavored water or something else you may have better luck, but wouldn’t recommend if you’re a habitual plain water drinker. Bottle says add a “light squeeze” (~1/3 tsp) to any beverage at least 12oz and it’s flavorless, and that if you can taste it you’ve used too much. I measured out 1/4 teaspoon not even filling anll the way and put it into my 35 oz water, gave it a good mix, and I can still taste it. It’s a bitter aftertaste even using less product than recommended in a much larger volume of beverage than recommended. I’m disappointed, I really wanted to love this. You’re supposed to use it 3-5 times daily so I’m not sure how long the small bottle will last. I like that it doesn’t have sweetener, but the aftertaste may be more than I can deal with. It’s better with a flavor packet if you usually do that this could be a good addition.

Buoy Hydration Drops - They're a win for me!
When you find something that works, its such a blessing! I've struggled for years with not being able to use hydration supplements, like the Nuun that my husband uses or the Zipfizz that my mom and my son use, because of magnesium. For whatever reason, my system is 100% against me putting ANY amount of magnesium into it orally. I've had to do IVs, take baths with pounds of epsom salts, and I've tried the magnesium oil, but wow it stings! Even the 25mg of magnesium in Nuun was too much for me, and I've struggled with hydration for some time, quite ironic when living the the wet and green Pacific Northwest! About a month ago I happened upon an ad for these Buoy hydration drops on Instagram as I was scrolling. I moved on but the idea stuck in the back of my head. A little later I checked them out on Amazon, but I still wasn't ready to invest $10 a bottle for these. When I later saw an ad for their chronic illness program I was hooked. They give a permanent 35% discount to anyone dealing with chronic illness, as well as donating to chronic illness charities for every bottle ordered on their site. I signed up and ordered my first pack right away. They make it clear on their website that they are unflavored, but not flavorless, this is true. My husband can detect the smell of the drops in a glass of water, but he has an abnormally strong sniffer. In a small glass I can definitely taste them, but it is not unpleasant. It's a hard taste to describe, slightly salty, slightly sweet. I got used to it pretty quickly and it doesn't bother me at all. If I used the drops in something with more flavor than water I don't notice them at all. You can add them to any liquid - coffee, soup, they even recommend adding them to wine though I haven't tried that. It took a week or two for me to begin to notice the differences, but I definitely see them now. I've dealt with chronic dry skin on the back of my hands for years and while it's a little wrinkly now, there are no scratchy, dry flakes and I haven't had to put lotion on my hands during the day for weeks. I also notice a little more energy and alertness. That's a big deal for someone who deals with chronic fatigue! When I found myself running low I put in a double order so that I make sure that I won't run out, and I've signed up for the auto-ship program. Here's the thing: It's the little stuff that makes a big difference sometimes. If you're looking for a hydration supplement, I would definitely recommend that you give these a shot.
