The color of this is beautiful, and it wears well for a really long time.

Good color and texture. Very close to a neutrogena color in same packing, several dollars cheaper…

Color is great. It is rich and doesn’t take much application. Like any lip balm it can still wipe off on mugs and things. However after eating dinner and having some drinks I wiped my mouth on a napkin and left color behind. I was amazed because normal chapstick would have been gone long ago. The smell is great too.

I have tried quite literally over 40 lip tints in my search for the right color, right ingredients, and right consistency. I have finally found the perfect one! The color is beautiful and very visible while still blending naturally - it's like a deep pinkish reddish brown, which is exactly what I was looking for. Clean, vegan ingredients to boot which is all I will put on my body.Please never stop making this!

Great texture and love the idea - but color was much darker and more brown than expected

First, the product is packaged nicely, has a lovely rose-mint aroma and feels great on the lips - smooth and hydrating but still lightweight.The color, however, isn’t even close to rosy as the name “rose noire” would suggest. It’s brown. At least, that’s how it appears on my very fair skin. Brown brown - no rose at all. I’ll give it to my mom who loves brown shades. I’d like to try another color, but they all seem more suited to warmer, tanner skin than my super pale, alabaster complexion.

I took a photo of what was advertised and this was not it. I also took a photo of the actual product “French rose tint” that I received, on my arm and above it I applied the “benefit” natural rose stain that I always use. The top sample is what natural rose stain looks like so the comparison gives a better idea of the brown tone in the “French Rose” lipstick. I order so much from Amazon that I don’t have time to write every review but I should give more credit for the products I love, however, products that don’t match their description are so infuriating I have to share with potential buyers. I was looking for a rose stain lipstick but what I got was an actual pasty lipstick that was tiny, broke easily, and a awful brown color, and at this price, terrible. Honestly, like dollar store make up. I will be requesting a refund. I will also start writing more positive reviews for the great products I take for granite because they deserve recognition. If you want a natural stain, I would go with the benefit unless you can find a lipstick only substitute. If so, please share. I would love to find one.
