Worth the money
This cut my hedges in 1/4 the time it takes me with my shears. It cut thick branches pretty well. The only drawback for 'me' is that my hands and wrists got tired but it was my first time using this type of tool and I cut 2 large bushes by myself.

NEEDS A BETTER HANDLE
This is the corded hedge trimmer. It has a very strong motor and cuts small stuff very well. Bigger twigs, not so well; it's not a question of power so much as the fixed teeth are a little too short and don't really hold the twigs to be cut. Once in the cutter, they are cut clean and quickly. My big problem is with the small, molded in handle at the front of the motor. It's O.K. for horizontal cuts but very hard to hold for vertical cuts. A large, 'hoop' type handle would greatly improve maneuverability and balance.

Easy to use out of the box, plastic cover a little tight.
Light enough to use with one hand. Plastic blade cover is a little tight to put on after use. Easy to understand cutting directions.

They do the job and cut well
Bought these to trim bushes around my church. They had/have a collection of this kind of trimmer in various brands which folks have donated over the years which tend to chew a branch off rather than cutting. Took one particularly bad one to a sharpener but they came back no better, maybe a bit worse. So, no more wasting money on repairs. This trimmer is much like any other electric two sided hedge trimmer. The main differences among them are the length of the bar and the "safety feature" of the on/off switch. Of course, the lighter the better for large hedges which require the trimmer to be held at arm's length for a period of time. So far I'm liking this trimmer (but have not yet worked on the largest hedge) as is cuts very well (sharp) which means one pass at arm's length is usually sufficient. Don't know yet how long it will last nor how long it will stay sharp but so far so good. (April - August 2021)Update: The above was written after I bought the first of these trimmers in the spring of '21. Everything I said remains true. I've just had the opportunity to trim a greater variety of hedges & bushes since that review.I brought the original (church) pair home to try them on my bushes - didn't think I had enough to justify buying a set of these. However, after trying them on what I had, the labor saving (over hand clippers) changed my mind. Even for a few (smaller) bushes being trimmed once or twice a year, worth it.So, just saying I've now bought two of these trimmers and am happy with both. (Just used the original, church ones this week on a large (5' high, 2' wide, no idea how long) leafy hedge at church. Did a fine job.)

Great Value for a much needed garden tool
Nothing not to like. 20” blade handles my needs with ease. Plenty of power to cut through all sizes of branches in my hedge and also does a respectable job on my overgrown grass plants. Was going to go cordless but glad I stuck with this model.
