When we got badges at work, and had to have them on all the time, I decided I wanted something a little more fun just to make the day brighter. These work. They hold well and I do their job.

Great customer service from seller. Received a dud reel and they replaced it without issues. Reels work well and are super cute and blingy. Would order again.

Very disappointed in these. First , they didn’t swivel , which I feel led to a quicker demise 🤔. My badge has to be swiped about chest level so I’d have to pull the metal string down and against the housing circle to get the badge up to the reader. All three of these snapped. Two , the metal string just ripped apart and the other, the internal wrapping mechanism must of broke because it wouldn’t retract anymore. Each broke within maybe a month of use. They were super sparkly and pretty but did not hold up. They were heavy too so clipping them to the bottom of my shirt never worked out (they had no teeth to hold them to fabric), I had to clip them onto a pocket to make them not fall off.

My favorite badge holder finally broke after several years and I was on the hunt for a new one. I wanted one that was sturdy AND sparkly, because who doesn’t love shiny things? I totally thought I had found it in these badge holders.Upon unboxing them, they were pretty, and surprisingly, had a nice weight to them, which gave me false confidence that they were manufactured well. Boy, oh boy.The first thing I noticed was that the cord was not as long as advertised. It was probably 18”. Tops. On the seventh time I wore the badge (I only use it three days/week), I looked down at it and noticed that some of the rhinestones were missing. Well, that’s annoying. Two shifts later, the metal cord started fraying. Two shifts after that, the whole thing died. Seriously?I got a total of 11 uses out of this pretty piece of garbage before it went kaput. Well, really 10 full shifts, since it ended up in two pieces in the 11th.Things to note:~When I remove my badge, I clip it to the outside pocket of my work bag, so it wasn’t rolling around with other things to make the rhinestones fall off.~The metal retractable wire is made up of maybe five or six thin wires wrapped together, but these wires are SUPER thin. Like, incandescent lightbulb filament thin. Once it starts to fray, you’re toast, and you’d better find a backup, ASAP.So, in summary, these badge holders are very pretty, nice and heavy (as far as badge holders go), and totally worthless.EDIT:After the first one broke, I took another one out of the box to use it. It lasted 7.5 shifts. The morning of my eighth shift, I attempted to use my badge to log into the computer and there was a loud “POP!” The second badge, sadly, kamikazed itself. *see photo* However, if anyone is interested, the cord on this one was longer than the first one. Too bad I was only able to use it for 7.5 days. 😑I would like to get my money back. This is beyond ridiculous.

These are just as gorgeous as in the photos. Unfortunately the cable is not as durable as you would think. There is nothing heavy duty about it. I bought a 3 pack, have 1 away to a friend and used the other 2. I was really disappointed that both of them snapped within 5 days. I was using it at work where I have to swipe my ID throughout the day to get secure items from a printer and access doors. I would love another if it could have a thicker Kevlar cable!

They’re really pretty. However, they’re really heavy and the clip isn’t very tight so it has fallen off of my pants pockets on numerous occasions when I sit down (not cool, especially when you don’t notice it happen). The first one fell and then wouldn’t pull. Finally did and the wire was all messed up so wouldn’t retract. Had to toss it. Gave one away and using the last one. When that one goes, I won’t be buying the same ones. The plastic badge holder cracked only a week after I started using it and I find the metal wire doesn’t pull and retract smoothly. Unfortunately, wouldn’t recommend...

I was really excited for this purchase because the price was great and the badge reels are very attractive, but I guess you get what you pay for. I only used the first badge reels for 20 days before it broke and this was with very light usage- I only extend the metal cord on the badge holder twice each day. Yesterday I was just walking with it clipped onto my pocket (and I only keep my badge in it, which is very light) and my badge fell on the ground. I looked to see what happened and the retractable metal cord had come out of the silver cylinder that holds the badge clip. I can't even get to the metal cord to try to glue it back together since it retracted up into the reel when it broke. I hope the next 2 clips hold up a little longer than the first, but I definitely won't be buying more of these if they break too. :(
