Beautiful lights
this is my 2nd string of these lights, I really like them. The 'beach glass' seems to be made of real glass, so has a bit of weight to it (vs a light plastic), and the colors look very soft and pretty with the lights behind them. There is a remote that you can set for several different time lengths (ie 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 or 8 hours) and the lights will turn on at the same time every day and be on for as long as you have chosen. Beware,these lights do suck down the batteries, I get about a weeks worth of good shine from batteries, but I am on subscribe & save for the Amazon Basics, so always have some on hand. The first string I have draping on the fireplace mantle, which adds some light to that area of the living room each evening, and this new set I put in a cool glass shell I got from Pottery Barn (the entire string fit in there) and use it in my bedroom as a night light when I go to bed.Update 5/3/17: I don't want to mislead anyone, I get a shorter battery life on my lights than maybe most as I have mine coming on at about 6pm for either 6 or 8 hours every evening. Winters here get dark early,and they are just extra mood lighting in my place. You might do a lot better with shorter on times. Photo of the newest strand, in the glass shell, in my bedroom, using it as a night light, I fell a few years ago, broke my ankle, so, decided a little bit of light at night is better than ankle surgery ;)

Lots of Choices and Beautiful
These lights are so adorable. They come on a silver wire and the dolphins appear to be about a half inch long. They are a very pretty light colored blue. This light set also comes with a battery operated remote control. The batteries for the wiring takes 3 AA batteries. The remote control itself has many functions for the lights. There is an on and off button. Then there is a timer which allows you to choose between 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours and 8 hours. There are 2 mode choices which is "candle" or :"light". The candle choice is rather interestingl. When I clicked on that button it seemed to dim the lights and then went into a flicker type of choice. Lastly there is a choice of how dim you want it to be. As far as I can tell, it looks to be about 3 choices between the dimmest and brightest. Overall, cute lights to decorate anything from your computer screen, to wrap around mirrors in the house to even a pirate ship if you have one. Love these so far. Hope they will last.

Good product but I wish they could be dimmed more than allow d
I really like it Hesse lights. There are only 2 reasons why I didn't give 5 stars. #1. They are a little too bright, even on the lowest brightness setting. If they could be dimmed more, then the different glass colors would be seen. The white LED lights are a little to strong which leads me to #2. Due to the intensity of the LED lights, it would be nice if they were offered in a warmers LED light instead of the white.I have them on the timer setting and have found I have to change the batteries about once a month which isn't bad. Too bad they aren't offered in a regular plug in option though.They are well made and don't look cheap. I would recommend this product.

Awesome beachy lights!!
These sea glass lights go perfectly in my beach themed bedroom. I have them draped around my dresser mirror to give it a splash of color and the sea glass looks authentic. It come with a remote for several options I was pleasantly suprised about the quality of this product and for a price you can't beat!

They look nice on the tree during the day
I ordered 3 sets of these lights. One set was broken, so I sent it back and got a refund. I just recently put the other 2 sets on my tree. They worked for about a week and all of a sudden the lights quit. I've tried every setting on the remote, but they still won't work. They look nice on the tree during the day, but you can't see them at night. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this item!!
