Best fee bucks you'll spend on sanding!
I LOVE these! Having recently started turning wood, I decided to grab some of these to get into those harder to reach areas of my projects and quickly found that I had abandoned hand sanding almost all together in favor of using these.I only wish they came with an arbor that was a bit longer as that would make it easier to reach the bottom of some of my lager pieces. I did solve some of that problem by finding a long bolt using the same threading and cutting the head off and filing down the first inch or so of the top so it would lock into my drill chuck better. Once I did that I had all the reach of needed.I like that they come with a good selection of grit and each disc will do some serious sanding before wearing to the point of needing to be changed. I would like to see perhaps a set of the cushioned backs that have different depths, maybe 1/4, 3/8 & 1/2" would be the perfect sizes which would allow you to sand all the high and low areas the same. However that's a very minor issue in my eye and can be corrected by the user with some poly foam(L-200?) and some Velcro (hook and loop) tape.Using these has also saved some decent time on projects as I can sand them using the drills power as well as the lathes. I seem to spend about half the time sanding as I was but seeing better quality sanding.Worth the money for those spending any amount of time sanding their projects.

Does a nice job
All the sanding grits really get the job done. This works great in your power drill. The only down side is that if you're sanding an irregular surface, and the foam pad comes into contact with something, it disintegrates quickly. Easily replaced, and extra caution takes care of that.

wish I had ordered my old style.
Sanding discs slings off the mounting spindle more than I expcted.

Awesome for smaller jobs
These work great you just have to be careful and not burn up your drill. Great for smaller areas and the different grits you get are a great value for the price. Very impressed.

Could be user error but then again, there are no instructions.
I had to google which grits are good for what and it seems that it just warms the paint up and smears it around in a lot of places rather than sanding it down. And it could be user error but there are no instructions so there’s no way to know whether I’m doing it correctly or not.

Works pretty good.
The sandpaper kept splitting in half from the top to bottom after fast use with a drill. Slower they lasted longer. For the price, its worth 5 stars as it gets job done.

Great for small projects
Wow, does this make small projects easy! I wouldn't use these to replace a regular sander, but for corners, edges, and small surface areas, this great. Takes a little practice to not make the drill go crazy from uneven pressure across the surface, but once you do, it's nice.Would highly recommend.

They wear out very quickly.
The pads do the job, but the grit wears out in a matter of seconds, at least the ones I used on my hatchet, axe, and maul. I ended up using a couple 240 grit pieces. After they wear out, I was still able to use the pads and grind down the metal for those three tools, but still. Lolz.I recommend just buying a dedicated stone, or tool attachment to your electric drill, that the grit will last a long time.All-in-all, they are OK, but just be aware they will not last very long - more of a once-a-use type item (after all, that is why they give you 180 of them).

Wish it came with more foam pads don't last long started to tear apart on first bowl
I like that the foam pads let you work the sandpaper around the curves of the bowl nicely. Does a great job sanding. Is a lot faster then by hand and has a number of grits to work with.
