The bell actually works and is very functional. The happy face on it is a nice touch and my 10 yr old really appreciates it.

Looks really good but the bell part is a little crooked on its base and instead of a ring, you get a quiet thud. If it is hit hard enough I can hear it thirty feet away. In time I will replace it.

In my opinion in what was a poor quality piece of merchandise. It was poorly made, it broke within one week of use. The sound was week and it was basically a cheap product and it should have had a shrewd smiling face for getting people to buy it.I was also charged for two and was given no contact information and amazon did not respond to my request for a refund for the second charge.
