Nasty Women: Feminism, Resistance, and Revolution in Trump's America

LOVE! This is exactly what my soul needed. I so appreciate each of the stories shared by these feminists and found them not only to be uplifting, but so informative. I'm excited to bring this into my college classroom and share with students. I think this is very empowering for women and for those who have different political views, a great tool to spark dialogue. I've recommended to many friends and colleagues - an outstanding volume! Thank you to each of the contributors and to Samhita and Kate for editing such an incredible book!

I enjoyed the diversity of perspectives in this book, though some of the points and experiences are a bit repetitive. As a whole the book gives voice to the frustrations born of the 2016 election, and considers the intersectional nature of the challenges ahead.

This anthology is so wonderfully put together. Not every essay is one that I agreed with which is why I loved it so much. It has pushed me to explore my own feminist perceptions and ideals. It was a exceptionally heartbreaking to read this week Super Tuesday of election cycle 2020 while watching Elizabeth Warren drop out of the Presidential race. But it’s well worth the read if you are willing to get uncomfortable.

I bought this for a girl I’m seeing and she initially loved it. As a male reader this was very insightful for me, and she said as that this book will be a great motivation for her to write about her own related experiences.

Everyone needs to read this collection of essays- especially if you are clueless when it comes to intersectionality and 21st century feminism/ social justice in the U.S. I found myself reading and rereading these essays which were all fantastic!

Bought a copy as a gift; regardless of one's views, it's a valuable read. Picture of page 101, paragraph 2. Perspective is powerful.

This collection of essays were enjoyable and maddening to read. I also found them strangely therapeutic after the nonstop barrage of events since the election.

My daughter scooped this book up as soon as I was thru with it. Only a couple of essays were disappointing - overall, I was very pleased.
