BrassCraft Mfg SF0016X Aerator Adaptor, Chrome

We recently got a portable GE dishwasher that connects via a screw-in adapter to a faucet as its water supply. However, they recommend avoiding using a faucet with a (non metal-reinforced) flexible braided hose for a sprayer or pull-out spout is, so we decided to connect the portable dishwasher to a standard water supply line.This Model SF0016X adapter turns out to be the key part needed for such a connection. It threads into a standard "dishwasher" elbow coming from the water supply, and has the correct female aerator threading for the dishwasher-supplied adapter to screw into it.This SF0016X adapter is well-made, with good build quality and plenty of threads on each end for a secure watertight connections. It's hard to find in local stores, so kudos to Amazon for offering it here.

I received the wrong product. The picture is correct, but this is a 15/16 female to 55/64 male adapter! I luckily had a 55/64 female to 3/4 male (which is what this male end was SUPPOSED to be), so my dishwasher adapter hooked up to this and I was able to use it. BUT this created 2 areas that can leak (and they do...) Not really pleased at all, but I was able to at least run my dishwasher again until I find what this was intended to be.

I bought this as an adapter for my drain blaster  G.T. Water Products, Inc. 501 Drain King; 1-Inch to 2-Inch  . I have a couple brands and sizes of blasters and it is nice to be able to supply water hot and cold from the sink faucet. I have several other adapters for the same purpose on different sinks.

bought a new Moen kitchen faucet and for some reason Moen went with a 15/16 aerator instead of the standard 55/64. I searched everyplace for a 15/16 female to 55/64 male and could not find. Luckily Brasscraft makes a 15/16 female to 3/4 male and then I just had to buy a second adapter from 3/4 to 55/64 and I was able to finally hook my water filter system to this non-standard Moen faucet.

I have yet to see if this product holds water, but it screwed on and set nicely on the other piece. Given that I have such a hard time finding the right adapters at the hardware store, this was extremely helpful to me to find the part that I need and to receive it so quickly!

It's too big for my sink but it's good quality.

This took me forever to find with the specifications. I'm glad that there is at least one company that still makes these. Put a dishwasher in my basement that had a 3/4" spigot. Needed this for the quick connect. Worked like a charm!
