For those who care about the plastic waste crisis I hope you appreciate the many days I spent asking everyone selling these bags, if their bags are delivered 100% free of plastic packaging, and what country do they come from? I finally found these bags!They’re not BCI cotton(BCI = Better Cotton Initiative. Largest worldwide organization convinced that the farming of cotton is better WITH chemicals fertilizer and pesticides, stupid right? Well, unlike BCI cotton, this cotton doesn’t harm the environment because they’re organic. Which also means they’re not just strong but softer too. They work great

Shipped in plastic. Part of the reason I got this particular brand was because I thought it was plastic packaging free. Nope! Not at all. As for the product, I have yet to wash and use it. Seems durable and sturdy. We have been using reusable bags for our groceries for years. But never bought reusable bags for our produce. I know, it’s shameful. But now I wouldn’t be ashamed of putting my produce in those plastic bags anymore.

I am using this for my veggies. I can keep a cucumber fresh for 2 weeks in its bag. Tomatoes stay fresh for extra days. Onions don't smell and potatoes don't sprout so quick. I haven't used to fruits, but I should think they would have the same effects as veggies. I use these in and out of the refrigerator depending on the content, i.e. potatoes out and cucumbers in the fridge.I have no cons for this item at the moment. I use them constantly, week in and week out

AMAZING for flour! Bought these bags to use as homemade reusable bread bags for my baked goods. They are incredibly sturdy! The tare weight on the tabs is also very convenient, so far I have also bought flour and sugar in bulk without any leaks. The drawstring does close tightly but if I were to flip it upside down, some would leak out, but who tips their bags upside down?? After washing on hot water and drying in the dryer, they shrunk up about 1/4 of an inch all around. I’d happily buy again!

Greatest little "green" containers for your potatoes, onions, garlic in vented vegetable/fruit cabinate drawers. Thick absorbale in case an apple goes bad! I wash in clean dishwater by hand, rinse well. Quarter and press down to get water out. Then spead across my dry rack over sink to dry out. Holds food and handle its care like my dishes. It's cotton after all. Cute as button! Helps prolongs my veggies in a usable handy way. Made my favorite feature in kitchen stylish and chef envious!!!

Sturdy cloth bags for buying produce from your local market. Our market has plastic bags for produce. My wife (and I) hates plastic bags or anything plastic. These work great. Different sizes. Wash up clean as a whistle. Something good to help lower that plastic consumption. Would recommend to others.A day or so after writing this my wife happened to remark how fresh her greens were. She wets the bag, puts in her greens, and puts it in the refrigerator. Keeps items fresh longer. Another benefit.

These bags are good sizes, top quality and durable. They are amazing for storing my food in and even look appealing in the frig. Still a little problem with wilting produce but learning what does well in the bag and what doesn't. The collard greens are fresh, perky and healthy looking while the chard wilted immediately. Not sure yet if that was an old bunch or what, will investigate further. Meantime I highly recommend them. Less plastic, more renewable please!
