MAGIFIRE Butterfly Wings for Girls, Halloween Costume, Fairy Shawl, Ages 3-15

My daughter wanted to be a butterfly for Halloween, and thought these wings were so pretty so I ordered them. I paired the wings with a black bodysuit, black socks, & black shoes, and painted my daughter's face & she looked great!!The wings are well made, but there are a couple of things about them that could be improved.1. To make it easier for kids to know how to put them on in the right direction, it would be great if the wings were sewn together just a little bit at the top in the middle. Each wing is sewn into the elastic neck band, but it would make thing easier if the wings were also sewn to each other just a little.2. The elastic bands at the end of the wings that are supposed to go around the wrists are SUPER small & tight. My daughter kept taking her wings off because the elastic was too tight around her wrists & left big red marks. There was absolutely no space between the elastic bands & her skin. I had wanted to put the elastic wing bands over her bodysuit sleeves, but there wasn't enough room and the bands rubbed against her skin & left her wrists really, really red.The mask that came with the wings didn't work for my daughter. I couldn't tie the ribbons tight enough, so the mask kept sliding all over my daughter's face & made it difficult for her to see. We had two Halloween parties, and she wore the mask for the first party, but didn't want to wear it for the second party & instead asked me to paint her face.All in all, these wings are very pretty, and would work very, very well if those two tweaks are made & the face mask size could be modified somehow.

My 9 year old daughter absolutely loved this costume. Has already said she wants to wear it again next year. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because #1 the finger loops are shorter than her arm span but could be fixed by hooking them on a bracelet. She doesnt mind though. And #2 the wing print is only visible on the rear side, again, she doesn't mind at all, she like to wrap it around her anyway. These are just things I would change. All in all I'm happy because my daughter is extremely happy. Luckily we had a cute skirt and I made antennas. Its definitely worth it and alot better than what you see walking down the costume isle of any other store. She spreads her arms and runs, wings flapping, and feels beautiful. So thank you!

Wonderful costume. We bought both the blue and the rainbow. The picture doesn’t do justice to the vivid colors on the back, the colors from the front aren’t as bright. They’re much bigger than I thought, it dragged on the ground a little on my 6 year old. We’ll probable use them for Halloween next year too, and for dress up after that.

Bought this because I forgot to make a costume and it was too easy to order one and get it the next day. Received many compliments on it. She loved it. Only thing that bugged the 6 year old is that it is held on by a fabric elastic band around the neck, and the weight pulls on her throat. The wings connect to your thumb by a elastic band. The mask was cute, but then also bugged her as it was itchy. Overall it was a great purchase.

My nieces loved this costume. They are 9 and 12 and aren't as excited about dressing up for Halloween this year because of COVID, but this was fun for them to wear at home and feel fanciful. They love the pretty and lacy mask as much as the colorful wings.

Great Value! Good stretch!But who made warmth a review factor. These are wings attached to a stretchy choker. This is gorgeous. This isn't for warmth. What were u thinking Amazon?5/5 recommend for those /not/ using for warmth.

I got these wings for my daughter for Halloween and she is still playing with them around Xmas, she says they are very warm when she wraps in them and I have noticed they are nice and strong since she love to play and it’s made it this long of almost everyday play with them, the only dislike I would say I have is that the neck can be itchy after a while.
