Although I'd prefer these not be quite so transparent, they are effective and study enough not to tear even with a fairly heavy load. The trash can in my utility room is old and of the type that has raised notches where some liner bag was meant to attach. I never had bags that hung on the notches and just used standard kitchen trash bags that came in a roll. I've long since forgotten the official size of the can, and no longer have the box identifying the roll of bags I've been using, so it took some hunting to determine what size I needed. These are perfect. The can is an old rubbermaid type, the same shape as a tall rectangular kitchen trash can but about half as high. The bags fit generously with a few inches extra to fold over the top can lip. Sometimes I toss relatively heavy things in that can like empty glass containers and numerous mail catalogs, but so far nothing has broken through the bags. They are easy to get off the roll and expand to reline the can.

The bags don’t separate from roll easily.

They were a lot thinner than I thought they would be.

The Quality control is terrible. Most of the bags don't open fully, the bottoms are sealed together.
