All older pads are awkward. They are sewn into clothes or attached to bras. These are applied directly to your shoulder and actually stick to your skin, but not with adhesive. The gel-like substance covers the entire underside of the pad and clings to your shoulder. I would rate these 10 out of 5.

Do not like Silicone.

The shoulder pads worked great, but storing them is another story. Find som heavy duty plastic to use so the adhesive will work over and over. Plastic too thin sticks to the pads and ruins the adhesive effect. Also, if you’re prone to hot flashes, the pads will slide loose.

Yuck...I don't like the sticky backing. I put them in a plastic bag so they wouldn't stick to things in my drawer, and I couldn't get the bag off the pads, it was stuck so badly. Plus pulling them off of your shoulder is a pain...literally.

The adhesive is way too strong! The pads actually hurt when on! I would not recommend at all.

Agree that the adhesive is so sticky you can’t store them for reuse. Anything I tried to cover the stickum with was ripped to shreds when I tried to remove it. The reviewer that said they don’t stick must have left the original plastic sheet on. Hope you have tough skin on your shoulders when you try to take them off. Maybe some kind of fabric would work? Should come with instructions how to store. Will be throwing these away and replacing them.

Nice a sticky for security but a little rigid.

I love wearing shoulder pads, but this kind is not what I expected!
