Wonderful prenatal vitamin
I find it really hard to judge a vitamin, but since the birth of my baby girl who's now almost 4 months old and through 4 months breastfeeding and have found these vitamins to be fantastic. Prior to getting pregnant I was not good at taking large pills, so i figured that taking three smaller pills would be easier to swallow. Here are some of the pros and cons:Pros:+These are a perfect size.+I feel that my body absorbed the vitamins and minerals better taking it in three smaller doses. I don't have hard evidence to support this, other than my daughter has been extremely healthy thus far+during pregnancy and then a couple of weeks after delivery my iron levels were what they should be (I lost a lot of blood during delivery and had to take an added iron supplement for about 1-2 weeks [but it was either that or a blood transfusion!]) so I think it's pretty sufficient on a normal basisCons:-Not having a coating may be a problem for some people.-They leave an aftertaste if you don't wash it down with a lot of water.-There is not nearly enough calcium for a pregnant or breastfeeding mother - I had to take a supplement. I chose Tums at first, but then switched over to Citrical, which my body had a lot easier time absorbing. When I was taking just the vitamin without added calcium my nails got brittle and I cracked a molar. After I took added calcium, my nails just would not stop growing and would rarely ever break and no more problems with my teeth.Overall I'm very pleased. It's hard for any vitamin to get a lot of calcium because it makes the pills too big to swallow. I found that this plus the calcium was perfect and I have been very very pleased overall. I plan to continue to take at least until I'm completely done breastfeeding.Update: It's been two years since I've had my daughter and I'm still taking these just because they seem to work so well and I've had such problems with other pills. At some point I'll need to switch to a non pre-natal, but for now these are great!

my mom also was like me but she has 4 children
I'm 33 and I had PCOS since my first period started. my mom also was like me but she has 4 children. my periods were really irregular, sometimes no period for a few month. I'm a thin person and the only sign of PCOS I had, was my looonnng cycles. I tried many things, like vitex, vitamin C, omega,.....none of them worked. my last doctor visit was in France, the doctor was really nice after the check up and confirmation of PCOS, he told me to stop thinking and searching about it, and just be relax. when I got home I said ok, I will no longer search about PCOS and infertility. I just went to Amazon.fr and ordered Rainbow Women's one multi vitamin. I got my period two weeks after and since then my cycles got shorter and shorter. not completely regular but at least I had them almost every month. 5 months ago, I got married in and we decided to try to have a baby but no rush, I changed the Rainbow Women's one to Rainbow Light Prenatal and DHA essential to get ready. now my cycles decreased to 30 days, and I have ovulation (confirmed with ovulation kit and basal body temp.)**This product is good and small and easy to swallow, the only problem is the strong irony smell which bothers me (I didn't have this problem with the women's one). I have to keep my breath to not feeling the smell.

most complete prenatal vitamin out there!
I am a label reader, self admitted. So when it came time to find a good prenatal vitamin, i was determined to search the earth to find the most complete, best vitamin there was. this is it! I showed my doctor and the feedback was they had yet to see such a complete non-prescription prenatal vitamin. It contains all of the essential minerals and vitamins and then some. i like how the vitamin A comes from a mix of beta-carotene and palmitate, where many i found were just palmitate. I also like that does a nice job of balancing all the vitamins for example they're not all 300% of your daily value so i don't ever feel sick taking this vitamin. i know many women get the "overloaded with vitamins" feeling on prenatals, and get upset stomach. I have not had such a reaction, in fact i feel my whole system is working better on these vitamins. The only downside is they're a little earthy tasting, they're green tablets, derived from plant material. But they really are mini, which makes them easier to swallow. Just need to pop 3 instead of 1 or 2 regular prenatals. Overall, I'd highly suggest this vitamin to anyone i know; i have noticed feeling more energetic, my skin has never looked better and i just feel healthier.

These are great - i'm pregnant with #2
These are great - i'm pregnant with #2. With my first, i couldn't find a prenatal that didn't make me nauseous, so i ended up taking Flintstones chewables with him. This time around, i had my fingers crossed that this pregnancy would be different. It is not. After trying 3 other brands that touted how "easy on the stomach" they were, i decided to try this one. Admittedly, i see plant-based, organic things as hippie mumbo jumbo, but let me tell you - these really do not make you sick. At all! I can take a dose (3 mini pills, i'll get to that...) on an empty stomach, any time of the day and will feel no different than before i took them. This is great because i'm super forgetful. I try to take them at night, but sometimes i forget, so i'll take them in the morning without worry. Now, i don't think these pills are "mini" by any means, and you're supposed to take 3 of them per day (all at once or throughout the day, your choice). They are about the same size as a normal Centrum vitamin, maybe just a little thinner. But i can take all 3 at once and it doesn't bother me. They taste... well... vitamin-y, but hey - they're vitamins. And that aftertaste seems to go away quick enough. Also, and maybe it's just me, but they help keep you regular. Being pregnant and backed up is NOT a situation you want to get yourself into and colace seems to work a little too well sometimes! I love these and will continue to order/take them for the rest of my pregnancy and also while i'm nursing.
