The plates just arrived today but already feel confident enough to give them a four star review. They are absolutely adorable! I have five full time residents and often will foster, and a few of the cats have plastic sensitivity, so use porcelain/ceramic plates for their wet food. I also have an auto immune disorder that affects my hands and will occasionally drop things, not so great when trying to collect all the food bowls to wash. A few days ago had another casualty and been struggling to find replacement cat food plates until I did a search for porcelain cat dishes, so many cute options! I know these plates aren’t meant to be for cat food, but after reading the reviews seemed like they would be perfect for us as well. At first was a afraid they were slightly smaller then the surviving plates we use, but they are exactly the same size, included an old plate in photo for size comparison and Pinto Beans was happy be the meowdel today. We’ll see how durable they are but it’s great to have three additional back ups, and they are lighter weight then a standard cat food plate, so may be easier for me to hold and not drop and break.

Why is it so hard to find 5" plates?? I searched everywhere and these were the only ones I could find. Luckily, they are absolutely adorable and I wanted them for feeding my cat his wet food, so it was a perfect match for me. The 5" size is perfect for the amount of pate/puree he eats, and also the perfect size so they can stand vertically on the top rack of my dishwasher (any smaller and they would be too small to do so, and then they take up so much more space when you have to lay them flat). They've been through the dishwasher several times already and come out great. Perfectly clean and no damage.The only thing I'll note is that these are nowhere near white. A lot of the photos make these look much lighter than they are in reality. I've attached some photos to try to more accurately depict their color - I'm comparing them to my true white dinnerware in the pictures. The color is not an issue for me at all, but if you're looking for white you'll be disappointed.Overall, I'm very pleased with these little plates. Perfect size, super cute, and easy to clean. Would recommend!

We’ve been using expensive ceramic dishes for our kitties, but constantly have chips on the edges. We needed four new dishes all at once, and I saw this set and decided to try.We typically share one can between four cats and these plates are the perfect size. Although there’s not much of a lip at the edge, only a flake or two ends up off the dish. Our cats finish off their food more easily from these plates, as traditional cat food dishes are usually too deep for wet food.And they go straight into the dishwasher and come out squeaky clean.I think it’s a bargain price for an entire set. About half the price of buying individual dishes. Very very happy with these!

These are beautiful and they fit my 4 cats perfectly. There's a fat cat, a sneaky plotting cat, a cat who stares at you with her eyes closed, and a content little tabby who has nothing but love despite the pain from his arthritic back legs.

My little dog recently had to switch to a prescription wet food diet. When he would like the bowl out, his beard would become a stiff, sticky, smelly mess. I saw these plates and just loved them. They are perfect for his food! I will note that I feed him by hand from the plate because he would inhale the food and choke on it unless I slow him down. He is also only 7 pounds. The plates are somewhat delicate feeling so I would not recommend for a larger or rough dog. Because I love the plates so much, I only hand wash and dry them but other reviewers indicate they put them in the dishwasher. If I did that, I would only put on the top rack. Beautiful little plate! Highly recommend!
