DowcoGuardian 50039-00 WeatherAll Plus Heavy Duty Outdoor Waterproof Scooter Cover: Black, X-Large

I wasn't sure this would fit the MP3, but I took the chance and ordered it. Many reviews of the OEM accessory cover cited low quality materials and high cost. I have tried other brands of motorcycle covers and found the Dowco brand to be the best for quality and value for the cost. The fit on the MP3 is very nice. The cover material though seems to be slightly less rugged than earlier Dowco covers, so I felt I couldn't give it 5 stars. The material is very waterproof, buts seems lighter and more vinyl like vs. my others which are more of a rugged cloth like. This cover includes the Dowco compression pack, one of the nicest, tough designs. You can quickly push the cover into the pack, pull the straps and it shrinks down smaller than you might expect, allowing it fit easily in your under seat storage.

When it came time to replace my existing Dowco cycle cover. I went no further than staying with the same brand as my current cover, only this time I went with the all weather instead of the more indoor storage version I had and which isn't made for more inclement weather, like being rained on since that cover didn’t repel anywhere near to what this cover does. It fits nice and snug over my bike and the top case. I also like the straps which go under the bike and that I can lock together from each side to keep it on my bike in windy conditions. The only downside with this cover is that where the opening is made for a Dowco alarm that can be purchased separately and is inserted under the cover in a mesh holder (which I have no intention of using or buying this alarm), rain water tends to get in through this flap and pools on the foot deck of my bike as well as soaking the left side of my bike. I may look into exploring having this flap sewn shut, because I bought the cover to protect my bike from rain water and that’s not totally happening because of this alarm flap which allows water intrusion!

Simply put this is an average quality product. Certainly good for most. Now if you have are looking for over built, beach, ocean resistant on long trips or using to protect in windy, areas this is not the product.I was going to return it but by mistake it was taking out be repaired and reinforced as we are constantly doing maintenance. The seller not wanting to let me know his best quality due to quite honestly lack of assertiveness & being straight forwardness. This was purchased thinking it would be better quality.Common sense would be a great tool to learn a bit more of next time MX South. I have since purchased another cover & gifted this one to one a member of the team after beefing it up. By the way this is was supposed to be for a Vespa 946.

Extremely sturdy and well made. The XL size fits my 2014 Suzuki Burgman AN650 like a glove. It's been through several summer thunderstorms and lots of this summer's extreme heat and is doing fine. Great price on Amazon, great value!

I started using this cover July 10th 2020 and noticed yesterday one of the seams has separated. Also after 3 days of rain the bike was wet in some spots like the seat which is where the separation is located. The cover fits perfect I don't have to "pull" hard to cover so I don't understand how it happened. I tried adding photos but couldn't master the technique.
