This mat is advertised as waterproof, but it is not. See the uploaded photos for yourself. Nice looking and dimensions are appropriate, but not waterproof as advertised therefore giving 1 star. I rely on reviews whenever purchasing, so I hope this is helpful if you’re truly looking for waterproof pad.

I gave this thing about 2 months of use before a review. My dogs (a rottweiler and an Amstaff) are horrible dribblers after drinking water and they get water EVERYWHERE. I was tired of hard water stains all over my floor and all other products I used would get moldy under the food bowls. I tried everything besides putting doggie pads down because I didnt like the look of that. I bought this in a smaller size but it didnt fit their 2 gallon water dispenser. I returned that and bought this in a larger size. I wish the blue was offered in this size so I went with the grey. This this is amazing! It's big enough it catches almost all their post water dribbles and it catches food. The lip is amazing because honestly when I put the water jug together I usually spill some. It's so easy to wipe down though. I hand wash it about once every other week because it gets kinda dusty and dog hair sticks to it sometimes. Overall I wish I had bought this sooner!

We have two 15-week old great pyrenees puppies who are like typical puppies and make a mess when it's eating time or drinking time. These have been perfect to contain the mess. I easily wash and rinse them in my kitchen sink, let them dry for 10 minutes and back to the floor they go. I loved my large one so much that I bought the small one later as my puppies grew and needed more bowls for food/water. These mats keep the bowls from moving around and the edge keeps water that has spilled from leaking all over my kitchen floor. I did make sure I checked the dimensions of each sized mat before purchasing to make sure that the food/water bowls I had purchased would fit.

I ordered the size Large mat 3 months ago and I'm so happy with this purchase. I use it for my cat's feeding area and it keeps everything contained. The lip around the edge is thick and pretty substantial. He can be a messy eater so I dont have to worry about any crumbs falling or water spilling. The mat has some weight to it and stays in place perfectly.The large size is great for holding a small dry food bowl, his fountain, and a small plate for wet food. It's really easy to clean too, I just wipe it down or take it to the sink to scrub if needed. I can definitely see this lasting a long time. There are no signs of wear after 3 months of daily use.

Got this mat to replace a mat from another company, because that one had, over the years, developed cracks and was no longer able to catch the water. I own a Bernese Mtn. Dog and a Staby. While the staby can be neat in her drinking upon occasion, the berner tends to create a shower. We usually have to keep a towel near by for her, and wipe up the mess. The reason why I got the mat was to catch the water, and to make clean up easy. But it isn't. The mat, while nice and high, holds a good amount of water, and looks very nice, it is flimsy. When you need to clean up almost a LARGE amount of water that has been sloshed out of the bowl due to both dogs drinking due to hot sun, or running around, you can't. The best way is to pick up the bowls, and use two to three towels into the mat area, and then try to figure out how to get said soaking towels into the washer, without getting water all over the floor. You know, the reason you BOUGHT the mat, was to keep water off the floor.If you have smaller dogs, this might be a workable mat. If you have neat dogs, this might be your mat. But if you have dogs who play hard, and then take it out on the water bowl? I would advise you to pass on this mat.

I am very happy with this product. My old dog will not eat from any type of dish - I have no idea why- but if I mix her food and pour it onto the silicone mat, she is very happy and ears everything. The3/4 inch lip all around endures that food stays on the mat. Then it goes into the sink for easy cleaning. At age 15, my Maggie is entitled to have some quirky behavior, I guess. This mat has made us both happy

I love this mat! I love the color (I got the green pictures) and it’s easy for my senior rescue dog to see it. Actually he lies down anywhere and I put the mat in front of him with his dish. Since he turned 10 (guesstimate) he’s been lying down to eat instead of standing at his raised feeder. He would eat his food but if the bowl got too far away or he licked all food to the far side he would wait for me to bring it closer to him or turn the dish. This has helped tremendously in the amount of times I need to turn the dish lol! Mostly he is fine in his own now though. I also like that, the way I lay it down it catches all the food he flings out of the dish.

I rarely give reviews but I rely heavily on them. Don’t know how this mat/tray has 4.5 stars. It is totally worthless and waste of money. I bought to keep dog water spills off our floor and while it does that it is impossible to pick up this flimsy mat/tray to rid it of the water spills and water therefore goes all over the floor. I should have been able to figure this out before buying but I guess I just didn’t think it would be this flimsy. It also does not come clean of the mineral stains left by the water. This tray has caused me grief on several occasions and today it goes in the garbage. Save you money or a buy hard plastic or metal tray.

Excellent mat for dogs’ bowls. Non slip surface is just what is needed as our dog is a Frenchie and his bowl is like a maze to slow his eating. He is literally chasing the food around in the bowl and it stays put. The mat is perfect.

Awesome to clean and keep in front of pen for a mat or to put food bowls on. Very disappointed that for the price I paid; the first time my pupper got her paws on it, it ripped in several places and now it's useless.
