Strong nuts, weak caps
So far these seem to be a decent value but three of the end caps have already fallen off. I bought them deliberately to protect the threads from corrosion as they are exposed.

These are aluminum. It doesn’t take that many remove and install to wear them out. Ok if you don’t plan to do that a lot.

They rust as soon as you tighten them upWith a socket.One of the dome caps snapped right off. I am not even sure how that’s possible without bottoming the cap out, which didn’t happen.
