Gmark Round Hotel Toothpicks 800 ct - 3 Boxes Pack Total 2400 ct - 2.5" Natural Wooden Toothpicks GM1021

It's hard to review these, given the reason I bought them. I needed to use toothpicks to hold cardboard in place whilst gluing it together. The toothpicks I already had were used for their real purpose, prior. So I really only got these to replace/save the toothpicks I had. These come in a fairly bulky amount (3x800 @ $10 at the time of this). That was the main selling point, aside from finding toothpicks that didn't have a bunch of reviews saying they gave splinters or came in looking like pieces of tree bark.. So these won. They're not too bad, however the points are NOWHERE near as sturdy as my original toothpicks. They don't have the strength to rip through the cardboard like the others - the tips bend VERY easily. I wouldn't say they give splinters, but if you rub them the wrong way, there is a slightly jagged and unpleasant feel - whereas my original toothpicks were really smooth and did not feel this way. Some situations required me to break the toothpicks - and upon doing this, these toothpicks had a LOT of flakes/pieces that came off of them. Again, my original toothpicks did not do this. These are also maybe a millimeter or two thinner than my original toothpicks.Not sure if any of this will help, but hopefully it does! Personally not sure how I would feel about using these for serving food, and would definitely be a little cautious when using them to remove food from teeth or something as such. The high stars is because they do what I need them to do, and the amount is pretty damn good for the price.

A toothpick is a toothpick. I went for the cheapest. I have since found cheaper at the dollar store, but I do not begrudge the seller their profits, this is a capitalist society after all. I needed plenty to put around my new plants in the garden so the squirrels will leave them alone. If you use enough it totally works. I see fresh squirrel excavation holes beside my "zone of spikes" but nothing within the perimeters. Yay. Now I can co-exist with squirrels in harmony, thanks to toothpicks.

Not sure one needs to read or write a review about toothpicks. They are what they are. Granted, I have purchased toothpicks before that were not sturdy and broke easily. Not the case here as they are solid units and do the job intended. I will make some cinnamon soaked units and update how they hold up to absorbing the cinnamon oil.

I've ordered these toothpicks a couple times. They're sturdy. Smooth with no issues of splinters. Will order again when I need more!

I received just one 800 ct box, the order was for three 800 ct =total of 2400 ct. I am still due two boxes of 800 ct = 1600 ct.
