This product kills mold from salt water from hurricane.

It does not have a nasty, fake smell like so many others do (including the Decon version of this same brand - that smelled nasty).This one uses a high concentration of thyme oil that actually smells like natural thyme. Like if you cut it from the garden.It does a great job of both cleaning and disinfecting. It is one of the few natural, safe products that is approved and registered with the EPA as being a true disinfectant/fungicide.Great stuff, if a bit pricey. You can shop around and find it on sale for as low as $30-35/bottle, generally.

I was able to fog an entire home, basement to 2nd floor with this disinfectant with just a gallon and a half. Pleasant smell, but a bit strong for a couple of days. This was used to disinfect a home that had been exposed to the Norovirus. Home owner selected the treatment and we applied. We did an ATP test and it registered a 3. Any thing below a 69 is considered clean.

We have a nonprofit organization and see clients throughout the week. This is a wonderful product to sterilize soft surfaces between appointments. We also use this on carpets once per week.

Benefect is only a small active ingredient (Thyme oil or thymisol I believe) but the stuff works very well and leaves very small odor. Thanks for this--love a great antimicrobial that you do not need protective stuff on your body (respirator, etc.) to apply.

This was recommenced to by an home inspector NO safety suit needed, I did use a respirator just in case. The Botanical worked like a charm, I've picked up the carpet cleaner (multi purpose cleaner) for general house hold use to include a booster for laundry. I have highly recommend it to ALL of my friends.
