To start off… my dog HATES toys. She will not play with them, has no interest in them, nothing. Snuffle pads, however, have been a game changer. She is a beagle pointer mix, 25-30 lbs, medium build. I first bought the little grass snuffle pad, which she loved, but I wanted a snuffle pad that gave her more challenges. She absolutely LOVES the carrot patch. It has noises and challenges, the material is very durable, it definitely worth its cost, and it stays well in place. Great find, and keeps my dog engaged for a while.

The media could not be loaded.  If the board looks small in my pictures, its not! My dog is just very big lol. The size of this board is perfect for my 140lb Rottweiler. It's good quality material and there are lots of fun places to hide treats. The carrots are great, however if you have a dog that likes to destroy stuffed toys, I suggest you put the board away when your done, so the carrots dont get ripped or torn! Great enrichment activity, lots of fun, highly recommend.

This item is very cute. It’s a decent size for my golden retriever (he’s about 58 lbs). I feed him on snuffle mats to slow his eating and am always looking for one that actually engages him. This one seems to do that. It slowed him significantly at least. The “suction power” is non existent. The bottom of the mat has the typical snuffle mat texture. The same as the image shows. It doesn’t stick to the floor. The provided strap could be used to anchor it to a table, but I don’t think that would be useful if your dog pulls up. They can still accomplish that. It is easy to clean. I just throw it in the washer and let it air dry. It mentions being able to dry it as well, but it has bells sewn in and I worry about throwing those in the drying so air drying is my method of drying. It is not the sturdiest of snuffle mats I’ve owned. I’ve had it a week and my dog has already ripped up one of the puzzle features. The smaller features are a little tightly sewn so if you have a larger dog they may have trouble accessing the food/treats in those spots. I still recommend the item though. The spot can be fixed and overall he enjoys it…I am having fun watching him :)

This mat is great for keeping our mini golden doodle busy. She had surgery and has to remain off her foot as much as possible and this has been so helpful. She especially loves the five removable carrots that squeak. The first snuffle mat I ordered was way too small for her and she would literally carry it around. This mat is just the right size for her. It's soft and has lots of hiding places for food or treats which keeps her interested for long periods of time. The gripper backing helps keep the mat from moving all around while she's playing. I highly recommend this snuffle mat for your fur baby.

Do you have a dog who is tireless? Never stops moving? Is too smart for his or her own good? Is anxious during a storm? THIS IS THE PRODUCT FOR YOUR DOG.I have an Irish Setter and a Schnoodle. One is relentlessly energetic and the other is a sneaky genius. Both dogs LOVE this mat.It takes my two boys 10-15 minutes to snuffle through the whole mat. We've used it 4-5 times now and while they are better at finding the treats, they aren't much better at retrieving them. The pockets and planter still challenge them.Just a hint - the first time you use it, keep the treats easy to find. My dogs were a little frustrated because I went all in and they were struggling to find the more hidden treats. It'll also help keep the mat interesting if you get progressively harder over time.If your dogs are food agressive, buy another mat. They will be in close quarters with their faces a few inches apart.It doesn't stick to the floor at all. I sit with the dogs and hold the mat down as they snuffle so they don't pick the mat up and shake the treats out. Sneaky genius tried that trick.I have machine washed it three times now and it has survived the washer and dryer in perfect condition. I wash it in cold water with regular detergent.It really does tire them out. I didn't think it was possible to tire an Irish Setter but this mat has proved me wrong. My two will sleep for awhile after they've snuffled. If you're stuck inside on a rainy day, this is a perfect activity for them.My Schnoodle is very, very anxious in thunderstorms. When we get a big, bad storm, I load up this mat. He is so distracted by it that he forgets he's anxious and by the time he's finished, the storm has passed. He's also not a big eater but will forage until his heart's content with this mat. I like it because I know he's at least eaten something.So buy it. It's worth the price. Honestly, it's kinda priceless because it makes my boys happy and that makes me happy.

The mat was described perfectly. Measures as stated but really small when one sees it on the floor. I have two small dogs and it did. It keep them busy for long. My big dog was more interested in tearing apart the mat versus finding threat. Would be great if a bigger size was offered. Wash ability is really a plus. Have washed a couple of times and it holds up well. It’s a challenge for dogs but because the mat is small they find everything in 10 minutes or less and the more they do it the faster they get. Mat is great for use with treats but I’d not use for feeding a meal. Use a slow feed bowl if your goal is to slow a dog’s eating. I’m giving a 3 because it is average but think if it more as a toy than an opportunity for long term enrichment. Because it is so small dogs figure things out quickly and bigger dogs will pick it up and shake everything out.

This was a cute food mat for my dogs. It really got them sniffing around and loved the little carrot toys. It’s important that you buy a few different kinds so the dog doesn’t get too familiar and then “bored” with the same sniff mat. I was able to wash it in the washer easily but just make sure you shake out all the food
