Stank, Well, Actually, Reeked, of Some Type of Chemical or Petroleum Fuel
I have bought and used beeswax candles for many years now on a regular basis, and I know very well how beeswax candles should smell in storage and when burned. Some are mild, some are stronger, but all smell like . . . well, beeswax. These candles, in contrast to the usual pleasant aroma of beeswax candles, stank of some type of petroleum fuel or chemicals. Either they were stored near such fuel or chemicals in shipment and absorbed the odors, or it spilled on them at some point, or they are not 100% beeswax but have paraffin or other petroleum distillates in them. I kept them for over two years, out of curiosity, to see if the odor would eventually disappear. It never did. They still smelled, that is reeked, enough that I did not burn them. From reading other reviews, I see that some other buyers have gotten shipments of these candles that had the same odor problem. That is why I finally decided to write this review, since my experience was not isolated. Evidently, most people are very happy with these candles. I hope that the sellers can find out what is going on with the shipments that are problematic and can correct the problem.

Nice slim beeswax candles!!
These slim candles are really nice. They burn beautifully with no smoke and have the lovely scent of natural beeswax. I bought the 6 inch size and they burn for exactly one hour. Since they are only 1/4 inch in diameter they don't fit into a standard sized candle holder, but, since they fit perfectly into a 1/4 inch hex nut, I made a great little weighted candle holder by super gluing together a few different sized hex nuts. I suggest using a 1/2 inch hex nut on the bottom, 3/8 inch in the middle and the 1/4 inch hex nut on the top for a solid weighted holder that won't tip over. Or if you have a candle holder you want to use that's too large, you can just super glue a 1/4 inch hex nut into to the bottom of it so the skinny candle fits and does not tip over.

Packaging useless, candles fine and as advertised
Amazon packed the box of candles in a plastic envelope mailer, giving me a completely smashed box that cannot contain the candles which thankfully survived unbroken despite the demolishment of the packaging. The box is very thin paperboard with a large cut-out in front to show the candles and definitely could not withstand mailing in an plastic bag, which was guaranteed to smash it.They are thin single use candles as advertised, about the length of palm to finger tip (mentioned for the benefit of those who visualize size). It is an observation, not a complaint, that they bend a good deal and are not at all brittle. Strong pleasant beeswax smell. Slightly dried out tips. The candles themselves would have worked just fine for our application. The value was in the shipping speed and cost as it was a good deal to arrive by our event date but Amazon also bungled that, telling me on the delivery day that it had not shipped, finally shipping at 6 days out and arriving at 8 days out. So now we need to store them for later use but have no box to store them in, so that's pretty frustrating.

So narrow as to be useless
Maybe I didn’t understand what to expect but these candles are tiny and bend easily but worst, they burn so quickly as to be useless. I have used and even made beeswax candles so I know they are supposed to last longer, not burn quicker than paraffin and such. I bought them for emergency candles but when I saw how narrow they were and read each one would burn for an hour I thought I should give them a chance, I did! My pictures show how quickly one burned, in less than 15 minutes. I would like to return them but have to see if I can since I burned one. I can’t figure what use they would be in any occasion or setting. (I was going to make holders but can’t see the point at this rate. )

Not as described.
These are not 8 inches, they are 6 inches. They are not tapers. They are thinner than your pinky, (beyond what is described as "skinny") and arrived in an incredibly beat up box all stuck together. They do appear to be beeswax, but also appear to have been returned and resold several times. Disappointing purchase.

Excellent, utilized wisely!
Update: Candle chimney reflections, from side view in my situation, adds 3 flame images! Am surprised and can see delight for other uses. I need single flame in view so no go.Have purchased (pre-covid), this honey-scent thin candle. Great product. Beeswax!Tips:Keep from breeze (use candle chimney if needed) and stand straight: burned 1 hr., no drip. Only remnant was a sliver of wick.Freezing (quart freezer bag fits many and don’t stick together) helps if burning in moving air.I use 1/4” brass hex nut on 3” craft store round mirror. Have just ordered 3”x 8” chimney and beveled 3” mirror to step up presentation. Haven’t located option for hex nut though it works just fine.Note: Latest shipment smelled of alcohol. I’m guessing due to storage needs from pandemic impacts. Same great candle, to be sure!.Recommended! Will buy again!

Perfect!
Smell amazing (Like beeswax, if you’re into that kinda thing) easy to warm up between your hands and stick on surfaces if you’re out of a votive or holder of this size. Perfect for candle work.
