Great system. I like it but it does have an ozone odor. It definitely makes the air cleaner.

Misleading product. ITS VERY SMALL
Very misleading product. There’s no description of the size, yet in pictures it looks like is over 4 feet tall. The actual item is about 12 inches tall.They need to be more upfront about it.And it’s suppsed to clear rooms up to 3000sf from what is says in their headline, but that’s a lie too.I have 1300sq room and I didn’t notice any difference. Definitely not worth the price. For that money you can buy much better product for the same issues. I returned mine.

Odor.
I'd give this unit 4 stars, but the smell the unit emits ( either on high setting or low ) is a little too much. I'm still trying to get used to it. My roommate says it smells like fish! : /

Silence, Like not working.
It was silent, we could not tell if it was working at all. It’s difficult to move air without making some sound.

The used AO1000, 3000 & 3000XGNU are actually Air Fantastic AF1000, 3000 or 4000 pre 2010 based on the "Old vs New Lamp guide" found at Air Fantastic website. Visit both Air Oasis & Air Fantastic websites before buying any NGFU.Yes, Air Fantastic(s) are on Amazon too & bear a striking resemblance to Air Oasis - seems to be a local Texas rivalry.Pre 2011 - 120VAC vs 2010 or later 12VDC with transformer - The fan and the light ballast are both AC or both DC - take off the screws and look at the fan motor and ballast. Or the power cord - (new) DC transformer at wall plug & plug in at base of unit / (old) AC plug wired into base.I wondered why the label was off the front, as does another reviewer.I have no idea if a "new" one is correctly an Air Oasis 3G or not but the used are definitely close to 10 years old - I have two newly purchased 10 year old units.The bottom of the unit has a paper sticker with typed in serial number and no bar code - AO or AF or yet a third party ten year old 120VAC unit.I’ve seen the bottom sticker of an AO G3 & it states 12VDC & 3G on the sticker with barcode serial number.I reported NGFU’s incorrect information to Amazon and have replied to a few questions in addition to this review.
