Mira Fertility Plus Analyzer Replacement E3G + LH Test Wands, 20 Ovulation Tests

The majority of the wands in my order failed. From the same sample of urine, I got a reading that was too high and almost humanly impossible, and the next two wands (same urine sample) gave me readings of ZERO. Really disappointed as it skews data and predictive ability goes out the window. Multiple wand failures is unacceptable with how much these cost.

I understand that the wands/Mira analyzer seem pricy but then again, so is IVF/IUI. So using Mira is way cheaper and it works. My husband and I have been trying for two years to get pregnant. After using Mira for two months, I got a positive pregnancy test. Unfortunately, I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks, but we know we will be able to try again. I used Mira to help tract my ovulation and took Conception pills to help regulate my period so that the dates were accurate. When Mira's app showed me when I would ovulate, it was correct. I had the highest LH surge on that exact date. I know it seems frustrating and it really is emotional but baby dust to all. Stay strong. You will be parents, one day.

I want to preface my review by saying that I do appreciate this device and what it is capable of. However, I've gone through 2 and a half batches of test wands at this point and in every batch I have had multiple failed test wands or bad tests. I've had to reach out to customer service, which takes days to get back in touch, in order to reach a resolution and have bad tests removed. I recommend following their video tutorials and making sure you really read the instructions to insure you don't waste any wands but even if you follow everything to T you may still have bad wands or issues with test results. Like I had a test result that would have indicated I had a serious medical issue and it ended up being a bad test. I ended up talking to some other people who have had the same experience.It's a new technology that is amazing to have in terms of knowing more about yourself but my recommendation is to confirm your test results by running it side-by-side with another OPK. If both tests indicate low, medium, high LH then you could probably safely assume the results Mira gave you are accurate but otherwise you have no way of knowing how truthful it is without looking at other data inputs. So whether you are trying to conceive or avoiding it I wouldn't rely only on this Mira device.Another issue is that the app is obviously run by an algorithm which means bad test results can skew what the app tells you are your most fertile days or when to expect your cycle because of this I really urge people to take the app with a grain of salt. It's a good resource but do not rely solely on just the app and this device to give you the full picture.So to break it down on why it's 3 stars and not 4 or 5 or 1: Customer service is slow. Resolution with removing bad data is slow. The app is buggy. You can enter your temp but it may not be there tomorrow. So data lost. I recommend recording temp elsewhere. You have to enter a password every time you want to access the app as well. Annoying. Test wands are finnicky, expensive, and non-reliable. Some test wands in every batch will fail. You cannot rely just on this device. This is a hefty price point and you need to confirm data to be sure if you want to really pinpoint your ovulation. I'm sure overtime the app's bugs will be resolved and the tech will improve and so on. For now, it's an investment and I recommend not putting all your eggs in once basket. If you get this device I hope you enjoy it, but please keep these things in mind so you won't be disappointed.

*Update 4/17*- Mira replaced the wands I received- and the new ones did not have flaws like the original. I appreciate that they did what they could to try and fix my experience. I am waiting on the new wands to be released and was also promised a free upgrade/ exchange of the analyzer due to my issues. Crossing my fingers that this actually happens. Thank you!You’ll need to buy like 40 wands per cycle due to how often there is a sample Error on the test. Not only that- each error takes 15 minutes. So if you have an extra 45 minutes every morning while trying a new wand each time- so be it.Mira says “they are aware that the wands have issues and are working on redesigning”

FAST shipping, genuine product, the same as you would get directly from Mira's website if you are seriously trying to get pregnant, this system is far superior to OPK tests. the initial upfront cost is more, but the test sticks themselves are not much more than say Clear Blue. These test sticks are just as easy to use, but give you a clearer understanding (aka an actual number) for your LH. In the first month of use I was able to determine my level was too low and I have some concrete numbers to take to our Fertility Doctor.

Mira Wands are super easy to use, pee on a (provided) cup, dip the stick for 10 seconds, switch the cap to cover the saturated section on the wand and plug it into the Mira reader. The test are much more accurate and actually gives you a number and curve so you can see you increasing and decreasing Lh, whereas the OTC dual line sticks only give you a colored line that is often hard to decipher. My Lh is lower than the average woman, so the sticks would never pickup my surge. Mira Wands did and gave me an accurate number prior to ovulation. Here’s hoping for a positive pregnancy test soon!

I’ve been using Mira for about 5 months now. I’ve learned so much about my body and monthly cycles! Turns out I don’t ovulate until about day 17. Before Mira, my timing of intercourse was way off.Using Mira gives you an actual number for your lh so no guessing like with regular opks. Mira is much more accurate and gives you much more data to look at for planning trying to get pregnant. I attached pictures so you can see what it’s like.You can buy these wands from the Mira site or from Amazon which ships faster.

I love my Mira and that I can get quantitative data and am not trying to decide if a line is darker or lighter than the day before. I purchased these as I wanted to have plenty, but my Mira came with ten and I haven't even used all of them yet in cycle one, so this is actually a decent supply for the price, probably 2 or 3 months worth. Highly recommend if you are trying to get your timing right to conceive!
