My foot was starting to hurt after I walk a bit too much one day. I needed some new shoes and something else to heal my foot. The tennis walking shoe that I got is, comfortview women's wide bungee slip-on sneaker size 81/2 W. I order that here on Amazon. I usually wear a 8. But I didn't want tight shoes, I wanted a bit more room and also wide because I have flatfeet. And I also order this, darco med-surg shoe, so that my foot can heal. I have pain on top of my foot. I told my doctor about it. He said that I needed a small cast. But I really don't want to wear a cast. It's summer. September. Very hot. So he suggested that I order this shoe. (darco med-surg shoe on amazon) Since it has straps and it is adjustable. I've been wearing this for a week now. It's doing good so far. I like them. The pain is about half-way gone. A miracle. I also putting ice on it and some ointment. By another week or two, it should be completely gone. Can't wait.

I have started buying these shoes for others. One friend, whose feet are deformed from rheumatoid arthritis, wears hers every day and sent me a text saying, "I have always tried to find shoes that would pamper my feet and you gave that to me." My brother texted me saying, "I owe you big time!! I didn't know they made these things!" I just ordered a pair in each size to be sent to a local health clinic that helps low-income people.

I HAD BOUGHT 2 DARCO SHOES. ONE WAS THE CORRECT ONE, AND ONE HAD TO BE REPLACED. DARCO REPLACED THE INCORRECT SHOE, AND FOR THAT I AM GRATEFUL. THANK YOU, AS I CAN NOW FEEL CONFIDENT WALKING AGAIN.

Will not protect your toes if you have an injury and does not reduce any pressure from the toes. Seller will deduct shipping cost to and from customer. Worst purchase and total waste of money.

Strap below ankle across front of foot was uncomfortable and didn't keep sandal securely in place without having to over-tighten.

I ordered this shoe because I have capsulitus of my 2nd toe. The doctor suggests rest and no movement of the toe. This shoe is perfect as my foot is supported and there is no movement in the sole of the shoe while I still walk around and work. The pain in my toe is gone. I would definitely recommend this shoe to someone who needs to rest the foot for whatever purpose. Thanks Darco!

I found this surgical shoe comfortable (as much as comfort can give you with post op surgery for a broken foot.) It is lightweight. The velcro was secure and the size S fit me securely. I wear a 6.5 - 7 women's shoe.

I have used these shoes for years, due to feet issues. If it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t be walking.
