I have used these pens for over 5 years. They really enhance script writing. No smooth in any writing style. Very durable, easy to use, light weight. Good ratio for ink flow. True to color.

Hands down my favorite pens! Everything about them is spot on. I buy them in a variety of colors. They last a long time, I can refill them, they wrote smooth. I love them for work, keep them in my purse, and journaling.

I was looking for a nice, smooth, deep, dark pen and researched hundreds of pens on Reddit. This is the only pen that gave that feel! It drys super fast and doesn’t smear at all. Even if you pass your hand over after writing, it smears lightly. However, I wrote a couple tester lines in a Five Star notebook and experienced a bit of bleeding through the page. This could be attributed to the type of paper in the notebook. Overall, a great experience with the pens so far.

The blue ink is so vivid and opaque and is one of my favorites in my pen pouch. I love the sheen that it leaves when it's fresh on the paper/surface as I'm writing, and I find myself taking a moment to admire it whenever I do. I love the needle tip because it feels like the ink flow is much more precise and sharp. What makes me even happier about this brand and pen type is the availability of ink refills to reduce my carbon footprint. Yes, please! Pentel, you rock.

I do a ton of writing. The ink in these pentel energel pens is great! Dries quickly, comfortable in the hand, write VERY smooth! No leakage, and a great experience. I’ve ordered tons of these pens, and I can’t see myself using anything else. Out of all pens I’ve used, zebra, pilot, sharpie S gel, etc, I love these the most!

I prefer a little more fine tipped, but this was a great pen. The ink didn't smear and it wrote clearly. It's a comfortable pen for long periods of writing.

Good price, great pen, no complaints.

I like the way the ink flows smoothly on the page and the tip doesn't cause "drag" on the paper. The ink hasn't skipped or blotted. I got the .7 size for signing checks. It doesn't feel too thick even though I am used to mostly writing with the .5 size tip. If the pen continues to perform the way it has, I will buy it again. I use it at my office.
