A Great Buy!
Let me begin by saying that I was immediately interested in this game, having been a fan of the original (free-to-play) online flash version that existed before. I enjoyed the game because it was a challenging and fun platformer. Luckily, for the most part, it has made a smooth transition to the DS.This is a very cut and dry game. There is no story, just a pure platformer. You are simply a ninja who, for every level, has to open a door and exit, while avoiding a barrage of enemies and traps. The game only takes a couple of hours to complete but you'll have a blast doing so. I don't know anyone else who has this game so I can't comment on the multiplayer, but it seems like it would be loads of fun.The real longevity of it seems to lie in the level editor mode. I've only just began using it, but I could see myself wasting hours trying to create a 'perfect' map. Additionally, you can also download other maps or share your own which is a great feature.However...there are some negative aspects. My initial issue with the game was that it seems to be significantly easier than the online version: Some of the enemies move slower and most levels can be completed without having to do much else than a quick grab for the key and a dash back, ignoring 80% of the stage. There isn't much incentive to do much else in those type of stages since running out of time was at no point an issue meaning no need to go coin hoarding to add time. Around epsiode 30 or so (out of 50), the difficulty does pick up at least.Overall the game is quite good, though there are a few minor things that will irk you as you play. If you're playing on Plus mode graphics, the laser enemies attack animation disapears before the actual effect of the attack does, meaning you'll run into it and die, thinking that it had ceased. This can be avoided by using pure mode graphics though. Also there is the problem another reviewer mentioned with the restart button being too close to the continue button causing frustration every now and then. While it does sound like a lot of complaints, they're mostly just peripheral! The game is solid and will provide hours of entertainment. Even though some of the problems arose in the transition from the computer to handheld, the convinence of having this game portable makes it very much worth the modest pricetag on the game.

Addictive, Sweet, but Short.
N+ is a platformer for the DS even though it could have been released on GBA. It also is a lot of fun. The point of the game is to travel to a switch hit it then make your way to the door that lets you continue to the next level. In this game you cannot kill enemies but they kill you and you will die a lot. Its like Super Meat Boy though, its addictive! I actually used this as filler between the time Meat Boy came out and Super Meat Boy came out. So far I really like the game but then it falls flat on its face. It took me two days to beat, there were quite a few levels but I just wish there were more, thusly it suffers a similar fate as Super Scribblenauts, it was good but it was too short. Now all I can do is play around with the level editor and get some mega secret bonus I can't find out how to get to.

Good Old Fashioned Fun
N+ is a simple little game where you control a ninja and try to collect as much gold as you can while trying to escape from numerous stages filled with challenges that test your gaming skills. While the first few stages are easy at first the later ones may very well take you to your limits. The game is great for road trips, or for some relaxing fun. Although, some stages may be quite frustrating, but that is also all in the fun! My only real problem with this game is that it didn't take all too much time to beat. Luckily, you can play against others and you can create some stages of your own, so that should make up for the quick game time. All in all, I was very impressed with this game and I highly encourage anyone with a DS to buy it and try it out! I'm sure you'll find it addicting as much as I did!

Good game, but description needs update
Fun game and certainly worth the $10 it now costs.I'm mainly writing this review because the product description is now inaccurate. Atari (in their infinite wisdom) has shut down the online servers for both DS and PSP versions. So it is no longer possible to share levels with the world, download all the available levels, and play against people over Wifi (sharing with an individual is still possible if you have a friend who has the game, however unlikely that may be).The game is certainly still outstanding, but a lot of the reply value is gone now that there isn't a potentially infinite source of new levels.

Just as good as the original
N+ was originally just N, a free PC game that made you a ninja out to get gold, along with avoiding obstacles and getting to the exit. I am happy to say that N+ delivers. With 250 levels, this is just the kind of game I was expecting. It's a great game and the learning curve is almost nonexistent. If you have played the original version, then you know it is simply a run and jump game. No power ups, special moves, etc. You just run and jump, and occasionally you wall jump. That being said, I recommend that you play the original game before playing this so you know what you're doing. Alternatively you can look it up on the internet to figure out how it works, but overall, this is a simple and fun game. Very cool.

atari style game
So you're a stick figure, and you can run and jump. That's about it. It's not really a puzzle game, as there is no really thinking involved, just running and jumping. While that doesn't sound to exciting, try explaining tetris or packman. This is the same sort of game. If you're looking for a casual game to kill time, buy this.Overall, n+ is a great game that you can pick up and put down anytime.

Used to play N b4 the internet revolved around social media. Found the newest version (N++) on the Nintendo Switch. Got nostalgic and found N+ for the DS and knew I had to buy it :)
