TritonT80SR 8.5kW Pumped Tank Fed Electric Shower Silent Running + Riser Rail

This is a great shower very quiet compared to the older type perfect for tank fed systems

I bought this shower to replace a previous model pumped Triton shower, which had a different orientation so I now have 2 visible redundant screw holes that I have filled with silicone. I also have a lot of other holes behind the shower from previous replacements in the last 30 years. I found the levelling a little difficult as I couldn’t find anything to position a spirit level to so ended up doing it by eye.Now it is fitted we are pleased with its performance and it is much quieter. My daughter says it sounds a bit like a bumble bee. Apart from the redundant holes it looks good too- (downside- my wife now wants a bathroom makeover and re~tile). It is so quiet we can no longer tell when someone is in the shower. I think it has a brushless motor and am hoping it will last longer than previous units.Overall very pleased.

I purchased this shower as I wanted a gravity fed cold water feed shower. This does the job very well. Shower head has 5 settings; I found the middle setting the best for me (rain). Some folks might like the power setting where the pattern is narrower but more powerful.I could not fault the installation instructions, very accurate with plenty of close-ups to show what was being described. It has a commissioning setting and procedure that must be followed for correct operation.Flow rate and temperature settings are very good.Water inlet is a "push-fit" type, so very easy to plumb in.Highly recommended.

As a shower it is excellent and much quieter than its predecessor. However, even though it is exactly the same size as its predecessor it took a professional plumber two days (£180) trying to fit it. Eventually we persuaded Triton to send an Fortunately, he had a part on his van. How the shower was allowed to leave the factory without the part says much for their quality control.

I bought the shower because its advertised as quieter than the old one it replaced. That's exactly as it is. Quality product.

I disconnect T80si pumped and replaced with this. Screw holes of the shower and the rail matched exactly the older model. Electrical connectors in the same place. The water inlet pipe matched exactly. Read instructions slowly as there are a few fiddly things to do to 'commission' it e.g. prime it first using no power , move a dip switch. Only difficulty was inablily to turn drain valve with fingers. I had to carefully use pliers, but this was a one time activity as part of the 'commissioning'. Haven't used it yet. It certainly is quieter than the T80si.
