Great Product for Cleaning Gun Parts and Very Reasonably Priced...
I found this product very effective in cleaning my pistols with my ultrasonic cleaner, and much less expensive than other products designed for the same purpose. I field strip my guns, run a bore snake through the barrel, and dump the parts in this solution made from a mixture of 1 part product to 3 parts soft water (or distilled water if you like). Cleans the dirtiest guns to perfection after 20 minutes in the ultrasonic cleaner. Next, I use my air compressor to blow off as much water as I can and then drop the parts into an ultrasonic lubricant product for 10 minutes. Remove the parts and let them dry overnight. Parts come out so clean that, using a white microfiber cloth, I’ve not been able to find a trace of dirt on any of the parts whatsoever. That would be virtually impossible after a thorough traditional hand cleaning of any pistol. Buy it - you’ll love it.

GREAT aluminum engine parts cleaner
Overall I'm very happy with Simple Green's Extreme Aircraft Cleaner. As you can see in the pic's it did a great job of cleaning my Ford's 4.6L timing cover (the dark spot on the cleaned piece is a stain on the aluminum that was there prior to cleaning). I applied it with a spray bottle diluted 1 part cleaner to 3 parts water.Soaking the cover thoroughly I saw the product working, and using a parts washing brush I lightly started scrubbing. One thing I noticed was once the cleaner became saturated with dirt and oil it didn't clean as well (but it did remove a large amount of grime) . So I rinsed off the part, reapplied a second coat, and continued to lightly brush it. After a 3rd application I was very pleased with the results. To be fair had I been able to just let it soak it might not have taken 3 applications, but it was a hot day and I didn't want the cleaner to dry on the cover.I prefer to use water based products at home, my usual cleaner (Superclean) tends to be hard on aluminum, and I didn't want to take a chance on it damaging any of the mating surfaces ending in a leak.Simple Green's Extreme Aircraft Cleaner will be my new goto product for cleaning aluminum engine parts. Highly recommend.

Works for (polymer) guns
New to using ultrasonic for guns. Not enough info out there. I used 3:1 distilled water to Simple Green Extreme. I filtered the used cleaner with coffee filters to be frugal to use again. Emptied the machine, rinsed, dried and used Lyman’s Turbosonic gun lube (also kept for next time unfiltered because everything is clean at this point) to protect everything afterwards. All three guns (polymer parts included) came out factory new. This is not faster than taking down a single gun, or a quick clean after the range, but a way to do the job a few times a year with results impossible to achieve otherwise.

Carb looks new!
Purchased for cleaning carburators but found myself using it everywhere. Two motorcraft carbs (2100 and 2150) to rebuild. Both looked similar to the dirty one in the photo. Soaked them for a few days and did some easy scrubbing with a wire brush.. looks about new! Did not dilute just poured and soaked! Use on my cars wheels and just a few minutes of soaking gave similar results. This stuff rocks!

This stuff is excellent!
I recently acquired an ultrasonic cleaner and bought this as my first attempt at an all purpose metal parts cleaner. I've used it (diluted, of course) to overhaul a carburetor and to clean two pistols - one badly fouled with carbon and one a Russian surplus Tokarev soaked in cosmoline. Then I used it to power wash my RV (even more diluted). This stuff couldn't have cared less about my problems. It stripped the 50-year-old carb down to the cadmium plating. It liquified and dispersed the carbon and cosmoline. It made the camper shine like it was new. It did all of this while causing no damage to the factory finish, plastic, blueing, etc involved in these projects. In short, this is a great product, and I highly recommend it.

Really Good Stuff!
I'll just let you know here that I used this in an Ultrasonic Cleaner to clean firearms and in a Power Washer for outdoor cleaning of cement, bricks, roof shingles, siding and more with fine results. Makes lots of suds so us caution especially in the Ultrasonic Cleaner. If you've ever used Simple Green you know what is smells like and that it works. For those who haven't lets say that the smell is close to any of the current bottled cleaners like Mr Clean, Fantastic and possibly some of the other aromatic bathroom and kitchen cleaners. The scent does not hang around too long either. Just FYI, I use a mask whenever I apply any outdoor products to clean and/or take care of weeds and plants. The words 'extreme, aircraft and precision shouldn't trouble you. It's basically the same as what you would buy in a grocery store but concentrated. Bottom line it cleans well and depending on your usage type may require extra clean water rinsing. I recommend used as above.

Yep, worth it
Read somewhere that this stuff, rather than regular Simple Green should be used on airplanes.Like most, hate it when mfg’s mark stuff up by putting marine or aircraft on the label.BUT planes are different. There is a full canopy on mine, plus pressure-sensitive striping (not painted) that I definitely did not want to damage . . . . while getting the bugs off of leading edges and oil off the belly. This stuff cleaned well. Put it on my Simple Green spray bottle and sprayed it on directly, using soft, long-handled brush from Wal-mart.All good

Safe for cleaning the outside of aluminum radiators
Safe for cleaning the outside of aluminum radiators. The other Simple Green is NOT. It eats aluminum.Truck and Big RV radiators cost thousands to replace. Clean them with this instead.

RECOMMENDED (4/5 STARS)!
I’ve been using the original Simple Green solution for my remote control car/firearm parts when used with my ultrasonic cleaner. It works ok, but very harsh odor when not used in a ventilated area. This solution works perfectly with a 3:1 ratio, but without the harsh odors. Pricey, but worth it. Would buy again.

Works for what i needed
I bought this to clean pitch and sap from saw blades and other machinery. Diluted at the highest recommended strength (3:1) it worked almost immediately. Other cleaners ive tried didnt work at all including brake cleaner. I have not tried it on rubber parts yet but i doubt it will do harm. It didnt hurt my bare hands at all, just dried them out a bit.

Perfect for Cleaning Engine
First off, this stuff is legendary and cuts through grease like nothing. Second, at the correct dilution its safe for delicate engine parts. Was a life saver for an engine rebuild! Would recommend over the cheaper, nasty chemicals!

Highly recommend having this for industrial cleaning of parts as carburators
I use this solution for ultrasonic cleaning of diesel heaters . This more or less does the job for me. I use it at 60 degree Celsius, for 2x 10 minutes with aluminium parts. Anodized parts I only put in for 7 minutes ones.
