Dilawar, the bandit (Dara Singh), kills a man who's trying to protect his daughter's honour from an accomplice of the bandit. The girl dies, and the dying man's cries of agony make Dilawar reform, and he gives up his life as an outlaw, although the dying man's son swears to avenge his father and his sister's death. Dilawar gives himself up to the law, but the wicked landlord Bali casts an evil eye on Dilawar's wife who has to leave the village. The bandit's son swears to avenge the humiliation. Many years later, the youngster returns to oust the landlord from his mansion, while the slain man's son is thirsting for revenge. With the ageing bandit being released from prison after serving a life sentence, another dimension is added to the sordid drama. How all misunderstandings are sorted out and the guilty are punished is what forms the gist of the film.
