These floor protectors look like they will get the job done BUT they are kind of hard to install. You are going to have to clean the bottom of the chair so it sticks well and then you have to get the sucky stuff to putt on the bottom but it is harder than you think to peal it off. Also over A short amount of time they will fall off and it will break too, the rubber will break so then the metal peace comes out. Finally, when you move the chairs a lot over time they will completely fall apart. As you can see that is why I this this is not worth your money. 🙂

You'd have to know me to understand how big of a deal this product was to me. My family just built a new house and had "real" hard wood floors put down. We also have 4 kids... bum bum buuuuuummmmm. Which is like kryptonite to superman when it comes to keeping things new. So after seeing our floors take a few scratches from the kids moving chairs and fighting over who's glass has more sprite in it or scooting away from their stinky old brother. I was determined to protect our floors. First, we bought stretchy rubber ones. But they rubbed off. Then, we bought fitted ones, but our chairs have different sized legs. And that didn't work either. These were juuuust riiiight. They fit a few different sizes because they have little slits to expand. I tease my wife all the time that there are very few things that please me in life and as silly as it sounds, these made the list. Buy, you won't be disappointed.

Our new chairs had some nail in hard plastic pads that actually could scratch the floor. I tried the stick on felt pads with little success. Those things would not stay on under normal use. My web search led me these neat well designed chair leg protectors. The design looked good so I ordered the 16 pack to test them out. So far, they work perfectly. I removed the junk nail in pads and slid these onto the chairs. It was easy and quick. So far they are doing the job. Their larger size makes the contact area of the chair legs larger thus spreading the load and making the pounds per square inch lower. This is better for both the chair leg and the floor. The adhesive holding the felt pads seems to be firmly holding them in place. Will see how it goes with time. Right now, however, I am optimistic that I have a permanent solution. Update: Ordered 24 more of these to finish the six chairs and also our bar stools. While still early times, but I think this is, indeed, a Permanent Solution.

They do the trick, and are just what I needed. I got tired of constantly replacing the stick on felt pads I was formerly using, and the couple of times that they fell off, I ended up with deep scratches on my newly finished hardwood floors. These aren't the "prettiest" things, but I am grateful for the protection they offer. I have them on my dining room chairs, and also on my bar stools. Another reviewer had mentioned, (and I second it), be sure all the legs on your chairs are the same size. I didn't realize that the front legs on my dining room (Ethan Allen) chairs are actually a little smaller, so I had to buy different covers for those.

I just had all my hardwood floors refinished. I bought these for my dining room chairs. I got the clear and they really are not that noticeable but they stay on the chair and protect the floor. So glad. It works so much better than the felt sticky pads.

I've been having these floor protectors for a little more than a year now, and I've got to say that I am 110% satisfied. The are resistant, they hold on my chair legs and most of all, they protect my hardwood floor.

These are great. I measured my chair legs and hoped I was getting the correct size. They were a bit tight to get on but have'nt budged and make such a difference to the noise level of my kitchen chairs on my tile floor.

Sticky backed felt pads on my new bar stools only lasted a few days so we thought we'd try these as an alternative. They are made of very thick, sturdy, bendy rubber type material that slip on neatly over the chair legs. The chairs now glide under without scraping the new Karndean flooring, stay on and are barely visible. We've had them a couple of months now and they show no signs of wear. We are delighted. Definitely recommend.

Die Telle sind super! Die schutzteile zu einnageln unter dem Stuhlfuß verlieren bei uns auf dem Parkett immer schnell das Filz. Und die zum ankleben rutschen komplett vom Fuß. Also bringen nichts, außer noch Schäden auf dem Parkett - im Falle der Genagelten Filzgleiter.Diese Dinger sind absolut top. Rutschen nicht ab, wenn man sie passend gekauft hat.Und verlieren nicht das Filz.Absolute Kaufempfehlung!!!

Perfecto para nuestra mesa baja del salón. Queda elegante y no se aprecia mucho que hay algo puesto. A nuestro perrito le gusta hacerse pis en las patas de la mesa y os podéis imaginar cuando la madera coge humedad... Lo que hice fue cortar un par de centímetros la parte de las patas que se había estropeado y coloqué estos artilugios para protegerlas de la humedad. Ha quedado perfecta! y el perrito ni se acerca!!
