Many reviews complained this remote is infrared and the Bluetooth functionary doesn’t work. But it does. Hear me out!When I got this remote, I noticed immediately after putting batteries in, that it worked! Hooray. But it didn’t take long to notice that it didn’t have full functionality. It only worked when pointed at the tv (booo!) and the voice function was non-responsive. Why? I wondered. Maybe this is a cheap Amazon knockoff and it’s infared only. The reviews here validated that. But I dug deeper.When you receive the remote, hold down the play AND return buttons at the same time. Hold it down until it says “connecting Bluetooth” on your tv. Then it will say “pairing”. Once that happens, it’ll connect your remote to Bluetooth (and not just infared!). Once you do that, your remote will have full functionality. Voice and everything! Hope this helps some of you having issues with having to point it at the tv or making the voice function work!

I have bought a number of remotes for my 65 inch Samsung TV. They ALL fail in the same way: the circle switch in the center quits working. You will end up squeezing exactly right with ever increasing force before it works, until eventually it stops working altogether.THIS time I bought one from SAMSUNG CORPORATION ITSELF, no clones THIS TIME. Guess what? The ------ thing acted exactly like the clones! Right now, 4 months after purchase, I'm here to buy another from somebody, whoever makes the best pitch.One thing I DO want to tell SAMSUNG (LISTEN UP, GUYS!). i will never buy any other product manufactured by SAMSUNG ever again.

Great, original quality! Works flawlessly with our Samsung Q60 TV.I also love the white so we can easily tell it apart from the soundbar remote that was almost identical to the original black remote.

For the most part this remote works great! We had had some issues with having to press the buttons down really hard in order to make it work, but that is really our only complaint. It was easy to hook up to our TV to use and easier to keep track of with the remote itself being white.

We have a few infrared remotes for our Samsung TV, and you have to point them straight at the TV if you want it to work. Line of sight is important for infrared. This is Bluetooth, which means you don't have to point it directly at the TV. So if your cats are in the way, you can still pause your movie when the delivery driver rings your doorbell.This was $22 when I bought it. It's normally between $35 - $40. I think that's a little expensive considering I can get an infrared one for a lot less. Infrared works just fine. It's just BT works soooo much better. If it goes down below $30 again, I'm going to get another one as a back up.
