This unit is working great, taking our water from 13 grains of hardness to 0. We installed it ourselves (replacing a non-working softener, so the plumbing was all there), and it was really pretty easy, even though my husband was very skeptical that we could do it.The instruction book that comes with it is very hard to follow, but YouTube came to the rescue for installation and setting the controls.

This softener compares to a Kenetico with out the Kenetico price. Call Kenetico and get a price! Our house has 1 1/4" main inlet this unit uses a 1" connection which doesn't appear to have hurt out flow. If your house has copper plumbing be advised copper fittings are very expensive. We had one plumber come out and he wanted $1200 to install this even though our house was pre plumbed! I went to a local plumbing supply store and bought $125 worth of fittings and pipe and had a plumber come hook it up as a side job for $200.00. One of the best things about soft water to me is I can shave my face with a little soap and soft water no shaving cream required!. Our well produces 26 grain water which is really hard, this unit brings it down to ZERO!

Easy to set up. Seller gives phone and email support promptly. Should have installed it 7 years ago!

Better off going to lowes. Does nothing for really hard water or surfur water.

had purchased a two tank water softener system through Amazon and after a few months one of the tanks started leaking from the top. I attempted to contact the Pentair company through there website but it doesn't connect. System does make softwater but is leaking all over the garage.

The delivery was great. No issues with damage. Installation manual was not provided. On line instructions were helpful but not the exact model. Product so far works well.

I ordered this to replace another brand. It was fairly easy for our plumber to install. If you are decent with tools you might be able to DIY. So far it has run just fine. I called the seller as instructed to in instructions to check setting and they helped me change a couple for our specific needs and it so far is running trouble free. Probably a little large for our applications. We have 5 of use in our home with a water hardness of 13 grains/gal and so far it is only having to switch tanks about once a week.
