Our hammy is very big. The usual hamster sized just seemed too small for her. Her spine was always bent when using them. She loves this one, even if it is intended for a rat!

Seems really study, attached to bars, so takes up less space, rats don't use it, think it's because they were adult rats when I adopted them.Don't regret purchase - think rats just need time to try it?

These wheels are great, we've got two, one for each of our hamsters, but we're already talking about getting more for their play pen.They've got a large diameter so running looks cofty and they do it often. But the track is also wide, which means out 280g beast of a hamster can fit in it with some space to spare.They can be height adjusted, and when they start to make scraping noises; just add a bit edible oil in the centre axis. They also need some bedding or cardboard to hold them down.

I’ve heard great things about these wheels however mine arrived with a giant crack in it. This is just dangerous, I assume nobody checks these before they leave the warehouse?

It was o my expectations

The wheel is a good size for a Syrian Hamster however very very squeaky!! We could hear the wheel in the night with the living room and bedroom door's closed (Hamster is in the living room). Bearing in mind this is when the wheel is not on the stand, I can't vouch as to whether it's different on a stand.
