Topical collagen won’t make you look any younger but it will hydrate skin!
I’ve done my research and a lot of the claims topical collagen products make are false or exaggerated. Where it stands out is hydration. First I sprits face with organic rose water. Followed by this in combination to copper peptides, ceramide serum, hyaluronic acid and a bit of aloe gel the work the product in using my microcurrent device. Followed by a humectant moisturiser, a light face oil and sunscreen.Where I’ve seen results is in the hydration and retention of my skins moisture. For context I have combination skin (oily T zone) but oily doesn’t equate to hydrated all it means is I’m more prone to acne, closed comedones and congested clogged large pores. A derm advised me to focus on hydration to balance out the oiliness instead of depriving it of moisture and it’s worked. My skin is far more matte and plump. Even when I drink too much caffeine, forget to drink water or have pulled an all nighter I don’t see it as much in my skin (I mean I still see it, you can’t beat healthy lifestyle habits) but it’s nowhere near as dull and crepey. I’d recommend adding this to your daily skincare routine, especially if you use chemical exfoliants (bhas/retinols/glycolic acid,) are prone to peeling around nose or get dry patches in winter. That being said if hydration or moisture retention aren’t problem areas for you I’d skip this.Hope my experience helps with making a more informed decision based on your purchase needs. I strive to be honest and transparent in my reviews even if it means I overshare a lil too much. Can’t tell you how much money I’ve wasted on beauty products in the past and how many reviews I’ve read that shared game changing techniques that I still use to this day.

Not a big fan
Ok so, I’ve used the whole thing before leaving a review as I always like to share my feedbacks on beauty products after using them for a while.I didn’t really like the consistency of this product and couldn’t really see any benefit or change on my skin so definitely not a product I would go back to

Fantastic product. Custom skincare.
The media could not be loaded. I have a few bits from Pai.I love their skin care. This is such a great idea.I’m adding 2-3 drops into my night cream.I have the vitamin C from them too so I add that into my face oil in the morning.Making your own additions like this works brilliantly for me. I end up with exactly the perfect product which is tailor made for my lifestyle and my age.It becomes personal to you. This vegan collagen hydrates my skin and leaves it smooth especially around my eyes, and gives me a healthy glow. It’s very simple to use and its great for any skin type.It lasts for ages, and the dropper means nothing gets wasted.I would definitely recommend it. In my opinion it’s great value for money and well made in the UK.I hope my review is helpful.

A very nice serum, ideal for daily use.
I've tried a few Pai products now and not really been keen on any of them, but this Collagen Booster is an exception. The consistency is lovely for a serum and it's versatile as it can be used alone or mixed in with other skincare products to customise your routine/preference.The serum itself doesn't smell harsh or strong which is always great for those of us with sensitive noses and it absorbs into the skin well. I tend to find you need quite a bit more than is advised to cover your entire face, but that depends how you personally use it - as an all over serum or a targeted one for some areas but not others. The bottle itself is really tiny, but the price not so much - £19.00 at the time of this review, so it's definitely an investment more than every day affordable. The only thing I would also mention is that the bottle wasn't even full when it arrived. The seal was intact on both the bottle and box, so I know nobody had tampered with it prior to arrival, but the bottle was only just over three quarters full which isn't great considering the price point and the fact it's already a very tiny bottle as is.Overall, a nice versatile serum that's a little on the expensive side. Not sure I'd purchase this unless it went down in price, but who knows? If I begin to see visible changes or benefits to my skin, I may consider it in the future.

No such thing as vegan collagen.
There's no such thing as 'vegan collagen' it's by definition an animal product. So a company blithely saying 'we've just made it out of some corn and soya beans we had lying about, no biggie' is a bit wierd, as is their claim that vegan collagen*, gives a a 'better performance' than the real thing, On what evidence?More importantly, there is no evidence at all that collagen# rejuvenates skin when applied over just, you know, eating it: What this is then is a moisturiser. Quite a nice effective moisturiser, in a nice bottle, and of course animal and possibly planet friendly. But of course there's loads of those on the market, and many much more reasonably priced than this. Probably why they invented vegan collagen then.*not collagen.#which this isn't.
