Hi, yes it does show fingerprints, but I just wipe mine with appropriate laptop/ device cleaner once in a while. I am happy with my purchase. The look, feel and quality are good.

Q: Is the texture non-slip for gripping?

no, there are rubber feet on the bottom, but case is smooth plastic. The plastic will permanently damage your computer by scratching the bottom where the "ventilation" cutouts are
