I had to drill new holes in my toilet seat seat cover (but I can't blame the product for that). I wasn't sure that the plastic nuts would hold as securely as I needed, and I was correct. However, I found two nuts that fit the bolts and added them to secure the plastic nuts, and the seat has been secure with no movement ever since. If you are willing to go a little beyond the simple installation, this product will work for you.
