Sturdy enough!
They’re really attractive. The size is ideal for older children, too big for our 2 year old right now - she found a small gardening set of hand trowel, fork etc for kids easier to handle on the beach. These were a fun size for us parents to use though - they’re short but move plenty of sand at a time - and our toddler will grow into them. I considered buying metal ones for sturdiness, but these are safer. We really appreciated having 3 - one for each parent and one for toddler! No signs of damage or wear after our first beach holiday.
