To buy or not to buy? That depends.
I ordered these for standing in the kitchen 5+ hours at a time doing sequential or batch cooking. I knew the straps might be loose but the footbed soft, so ordered a pair, fully prepared to add a few stitches to the straps if/when necessary to find a softer footbed. They smelled pretty strong when they came. I aired them for days; smell dissipated. Note: some neoprene products smell horrible. Sometimes it clears; sometimes not. These got clearer. The straps were loose on me, but I have fairly bony feet. I could tell right away that I could not trust them As Is for outdoor wear and that I would have to be mindful wearing them in the kitchen because they shift when you turn, due to the loose straps. This can be dangerous. I plan to sew/dart the straps (to tighten them) sooner than later, just as a precaution. The footbed, however, DID feel softer than my tough-as-nails but hard-as-rocks Old Navy regulars. I had to do about 5 hours on cooking, sequential baking, etc. and my back hurt and I was achy and was Not up for it, but a pal's dad passed away last weekend in hospice and I needed to get these comfort items made. Perfect time to try out these new flip flops. After 5 hours, I couldn't wait to get out of the kitchen! I changed back into my Old Navy thongs 4 hours in, to check email, and forgot to change back into these when I pulled a batch swap from the oven. Within 15 minutes, my back was hurting like heck. I looked down...and knew why! So there is no doubt that these made doing what I needed that get done at least tolerable physically, and that means a bonafide softer footbed. I did not "mind" them much, but did catch myself needing to be careful turning a few times, doing fast stuff. I ordered 9 pairs of flip flops from Amazon, and 7 pairs flopped - and got returned: hard footbeds, horrible smell, rough straps, loose straps. These were 1 of the 2 pairs I kept (the other were Clarks Kaylie, that I got on sale, for wearing securely outside - but I need to get used to their heavier footbed. No big issue there, as they are soft footbeds and worth it. Also ordered some Teva Voya Bar's, also on sale, and kept both pair as a winner - soft footbed and sturdy mesh without friction/abrasion.). I am going to grab a couple more pair of these. The price point is low enough, the footbed makes that long cooking/standing on tile flooring bearable, the straps are soft and I am willing to take a needle and thread and make whatever modifications it takes to keep them as functional house footwear for chores. I might even stitch a canvas strap to the outside/top of the straps, as that would add stability without friction and maybe make them last longer. Finding that soft footbed, especially without the horrible stench of neoprene lingering, is the important part for long standing. I ordered the striped strap made from tee shirt material. The others looked slipperier. If I sew the straps on the other pairs and they are more secure, I might get a pair to wear outside, but it might wear them out faster and at least I found a pair - I admittedly need to modify, but no big deal (for me) - that make long household tasks more physically tolerable. My feet hurt a Lot less after wearing them. Back now in my Old Navy's, I am realize how terribly hard and painful/uncomfortable they are to wear at all. (I often wear NewDenBer flip flops running errands. They are men's but softer than the Old Navy's yet still sturdy. If you are slender/lightweight, it can be hard to find a soft footbed because you just don't press down on some materials to get the soft effect others might experience. I have had this problem with seat cushions, too. Some love them, but being lighter, I sit "above" the material's effects and it is like a rock. SO, think about what you are really looking for, use-wise, and whether you can make some mods to make those qualities work for you with these. You can buy Clarks at 6 times the price of these, but these were for housework; my Clarks take on the errands; my Tevas will, too. It's up to you to buy these and know they will likely require modifications for many people and whether you are willing to do that or just wing it. Good luck. Flip flops shouldn't require this much expedition shopping! Years back, I bought an $8 pair walking thru the market one day that lasted Years. My Tevas are their replacement now. Companies have changed their suppliers and materials, so even old standby companies are no longer reliable (especially on Amazon, Land of the Counterfeiters). There are videos/articles on how to make a removable backstrap, for any interested, though I am in flip flops year-round and that may take some getting used to! Still, it is a mod to consider. Hope this helps some searchers. The flip flop world can be a real challenge nowadays.

Nice looking sandal and very comfy too!
Seems to be a well made flip flop with a bit of arch support and well fitting. I do have smaller feet and these gripped my foot well (whereas my foot will "swim" in other sandals that have a larger cage). My only complaint is that the quality control doesn't seem to be great as there was a piece of foam missing from the top of one sandal -- like a bite was taken off. Returned but would have kept otherwise.

Affordable and durable
I quickly added these flip-flops on to an order for dressier shoes as I was going on a girls retreat and wanted a pair to be able to take to the beach or go canoeing in. I did not expect them to last as long as they have. When the arrived they looked light and flimsy. I wore them to my retreat and almost every weekend canoeing this summer. I also wore them kayaking once, and my feet got stuck in the mud as I was exiting the kayak. As I tried pulling my feet up, the mud sucked them tighter. I kept pulling up, all the time thinking that the flip-flops are going to break, but they did not. Very impressed.

Got this for my PCA
Her previous slippers wore out. They are comfy and trendy. She manages to wear them with socks. It makes her happy I cared. These slippers are used by her when shes at my house. As I don’t allow shows in my house for hygiene purposes. It was reasonable love the black and white strip. If I needed I would have bought them for myself too. My gifts are like will I buy this for myself? If so I buy them as gifts for others. Not much out there in stores after Covid. This was in my budget online. So much easier: I usually buy few things together so get free shipping on $25 plus purchases. It works out well without searching for stuff in stores.

Straps seem very loose.
I’ll think about whether to keep because the straps seem very loose. Ok for around the house. I have another color pair due to arrive tomorrow so can see if looseness is consistent. Other than the loose straps, the sandals are nice and soft. Arch support is merely a suggestion as in barely there so not over exaggerated as in some brands. Toe post seems comfortable. Ok received the second pair. The straps do seem looser than I’m used to but the soles are comfortable and soft yet supportive. I’m keeping.

Very comfortable and soft
Very nice flops. More comfy than I expected and fits well. Only thing I don't like is they felt a little too floppy when I walk if that makes any sense. Maybe I just haven't worn flip flops in too long. but they aren't the silent type of flop if that's what you're looking for. Still nice and good for going to the beach or pool. So far feels very study and not likely to break anytime soon.

Most amazing flip flops ever
These flip flops are the most comfortable thing I have ever put on my foot I have a little obsession with flip flops but in the summer my heels crack and my doctor says it has to do with the way I walk and the fact that I wear open shoes I've wore these for 2 weeks my heels are not cracked cute loss of colors has arch support I love them

Conformable
These are comfortable but I'm not in love with them. I don't see these lasting very long. The bottoms are very foamy. Not but, but not 5 stars in my opinion. If I tried these on in a store I probably wouldn't have purchased.

Love ❤️ these flip flops!
These flip flops are super comfy for someone who prefers a dainty flip flop. Comfy on the bottom. Not like walking on cardboard like some.

So comfortable
These are great. Soles quite soft, yet do not flatten like many flip flops. Centre post does not rub on my toes - bonus!

Zu eng
Im Prinzip ein guter Flip Flop. Fußbett Supa weich. Aber die Bänder sind zu eng. Und man rutscht beim Gehen seitlich runter.
