These hibiscus tea flowers make a rich delicious sour sweet cold tea that is a striking red color. We had ours with less sugar than the recipe (2/3 cup vs 1 cup) and I thought it was plenty for my taste. The flowers are moisture than those we have purchased before … more like dried fruit and less like dried flowers. I don’t know if that makes it better or not, but the tea from this batch was delicious and apparently is good for you too though there is no way to assess that.

These hibiscus flowers are beautiful; the color is deep, and they look like they were just picked. I have never ordered hibiscus flowers before; I've only had tea bags with hibiscus in them. These taste a little different than the tea bags. These flowers have a very strong scent.I am not sure if I want to lay them out and dry them out more, or maybe on the drying cycle in the oven, or leave as is. I'm just worried about mold if I don't dry them further. This sized bag should last for two years!Even though these are called Jamaican Hibiscus Tea Flowers, they are from Mexico.I hope you found my review helpful!!

I have used a lot of dry hibiscus over the years and I’ve never had a bag that was soft and gummy. I am not personally sure if they intended for it to not be fully dry.The hibiscus flowers had a very strong, sweet cranberry aroma that was delicious. The texture of the flowers reminded me of fruit leather, very gummy. The hibiscus flowers did have good flavor.

I was pleasantly surprised that these are not completely dried out like the ones I’ve purchased from the stores. It had a very nice floral, sweet and tart aroma as I opened the package. It seemed really fresh…I can’t stop snacking on them as is LOL, it tasted like Craisins but much yummier! I made the best Aqua de Jamaica with these, much better than the completely dried out version. The tartness is more pronounced and the color is so vibrant and beautiful. I’ve also steeped a few in hot water for tea, added some honey and it’s delicious. I don’t think I can go back to the store version, these are addictive. Can’t wait to make ice cream or desserts with these!

This is a really nice quality bag of hibiscus flowers. They are very fresh, even having some softness to them, instead of being dry and brittle. Almost all of the flowers are whole and look amazing.

I really like how these hibiscus flowers are not completely dried and brittle, each flower is pretty intact and is fresh. It’s fun to make the hibiscus tea and/or lemonade with the flower looking great as part of the drink. The flavor is good, and color is vibrant. It makes such a fun and colorful drink, it’s well enjoyed.
