The media could not be loaded. I installed the first magnetic door stop at my entrance, which has a heavy security aluminum door. Since I recently got new tiles and didn’t want to make any holes, I really appreciated the adhesive option. It was easy to install—no screws necessary—and the adhesive held up impressively well.The magnets are strong and work great, but I did notice that if you slam the door, it tends to bounce back without latching. However, a slow, gentle swing towards the magnet does the trick perfectly. This minor issue doesn’t take away from how sturdy and effective the product is overall.I’m so satisfied with this purchase that I’m excited to install the rest on the other heavy-duty aluminum doors in my home.

I love fresh air. But living in the Midwest where we get high winds all through spring, I couldn't keep the doors open without the wind constantly banging them fully open and closed. The magnetic door catches are a blessing. These have the option to be screwed in which is how I usually mount them. But they also have a stick on option, which is how I used them this time. I have a 140 year old door and had just redone my floors and didn't want to screw into either one of them. So I used the adhesive option and they stick amazingly! I was sure they would just fall right off, but they are mounted snug and securely. The magnets are also very strong and help pull the door into position and seat itself. They also prevent the door knob from banging into your wall. These also look really nice in my opinion vs the other ugly door stoppers out there. But again, I wanted more than just a door stopper, I wanted a door HOLDER. You will not regret buying these.

The magnets being able to stay together strong enough to keep the door open while also being easy to separate them when you want 10/10. The only issues I had was keeping them on the walls and doors with only the adhesive. It did not want to stay on the door. I tried heating the adhesive a little and still did not want to stay on the door. I also tried the screws and my door is hollow so that didn’t work so I just super glued it to the door and it’s been perfect.

The media could not be loaded. This was a great solution for us. I wanted to protect the wall but also hold the door open to our guest bathroom. Easy to install. Adhesion was fine but I opted to use the screws to hold it. the screws are well hidden. Magnet was very strong. Better than expected. The receiver is also floating on a spring to lessen hard impacts as shown in the video.

The adhesive did not work so we had to use the screws.

I really like the install options. Did not want to mar hardwood floor in entryway - the adhesive option worked perfectly and is able to handle heavy use with no issues. The spring catch is a nice touch and makes for a softer open/close. Will purchase more in the future. Highly recommend!
