Great height, which makes it easy to use. Also proportions look good in large period property with high ceilings Good sturdy heavy base and looks more expensive than it cost. Only negative is that the tongs have 2 handles and each handle has to be placed separately on the stand, which might not be an issue for anyone else. Easy to use the tong when off the stand, just a bit fiddly hanging it back again. Overall very pleased with purchase.

So when putting it all together the top of the stand was missing to tighten in placeShame really as it’s good quality great size of tools just the top was not in box

These tools are gorgeous with lovely detailing, and fit into the aesthetic were going for much better than some of the more generic ones out there. They are well made and sturdy with handles of a good length. One criticism I have is that the handles are just a raw wood, which kind of conflicts with the over all design. I applied a few layers of dark oak wood varnish to the handles and now they look excellent.

Having had a new wood burner installed worth nice light wood mantle, wanted a set of tools. Saw these with pale wood handles and they match lovely. Easy to use and a good length
