Review Mørk s cello playing, delicate yet forceful, is a treat in itself. --Ivan Hewett, Daily Telegraph, 27 June 2009

exquisite cello music
Haflidi Hallgrimsson is an Icelander based in Scotland. this is timelessly excellent classical music of limpid beauty, neither backward nor forward looking, never striving for effect or novelty, simply true to itself and its composer.I had the honour to chauffeur one of Britain's leading geoscientists down the coast of NW Scotland; he confessed to a passion for the cello; this was in the glovebox; a contented silence ensued. I sent him a copy as souvenir.I then had the honour of regaling Haflidi with this story as he waited at the back of Glasgow City Halls for a piece of his to start; he didn't know me from Adam, and was suitably baffled.
