Perfect Smooth Organic Rich Tasting Blend
This coffee is amazing. I tried a few different blends in my stovetop Italian Moka and this was by far the best. This is a very smooth and flavorful roast with the benefits of being fair trade and organic. My new favorite and I’ll be stocking up. Better than the other organic brands I tried. Amazon great job sourcing this and you’re my new go to for coffee.

Flavorful
The brewing aroma of this coffee draws you right in. The initial pot was not very enjoyable because I did not use the recommended amount of coffee stated on the pkg. However, after initial pot, check directions, made second pot as directed & enjoyed a robust mildly acidic cup of coffee that suits my taste extremely well. It finishes w/a slight bitter bite that lingers on the tongue when which I enjoy. Good value for the money, however it seems I used more coffee than I normally would to achieve the desired flavor & satisfaction.

Brews a bangin' cup.
This coffee is smooth and delightful. It brews a bangin' cup, and I love it. However, the packaging needs a little work. I'm running into the same problem I have with Amazon's coffee bags that I have with Amazon's boxes. The glue is stronger than the packaging. All three of the bags I've opened so far rip the top while the bag stays sealed. I have to use scissors to get the bag open since the glue is so steadfast.I wish I had the resolve of this adhesive.

Not Cusco coffee
This is not recognizable as Peruvian coffee. Peruvian should be smooth and naturally free of any bitterness or sour notes, with excellent flavor plain black. In Peru coffee is brewed very (extra extra!) strong, almost as a concentrate, and served beside pitchers of hot water and fresh milk so individuals can adjust to personal preference.(The two tablespoons per six ounces measure noted won’t suit everyone )This arrived near the ‘Best by’ date, being finely pre ground, that’s probably right because it can sour and go off quickly once opened. Beware of coffees claiming fruity notes, they can rapidly turn from bright into moldy oranges stink.I don’t see where it’s labeled but this is Finely ground - more suitable for espresso or Turkish preparation. Pour over is disappointing.Three stars are generous.* having often enjoyed the real deal fresh & close to source, this doesn’t even hint at expectations.Bummer

I'm no connoisseur
Seems to me it makes a good coffee. Nice of Amazon to offer a discount organic brew. I subscribed.I use a meat thermometer to get the water to 175 to 180 degrees F. Any hotter is more bitter. Then mix 1 level tbsp of grounds per 6 oz of hot water, adjust with experience. One quick stir and get it through a coffee filter as fast as possible. Increased "extraction time," any soaking will increase the bitterness.Metal mesh coffee filter deliver shorter waiting time compared to paper coffee filters that take forever. Which means that paper filters increase extraction time.If it's not bitter enough, you can boil up some organic cacao, and mix that in.I like half milk and half half & half.Update: I was so happy to find an inexpensive organic coffee, that I filled my freezer with it. I've been removing unopened bags of this coffee from my freezer, even with each bag enclosed in a ziplock freezer bag, but the flavor has really deteriorated. The artificial intelligence said I could freeze coffee if it's airtight, but it didn't work for me.No more storing coffee as if it's the apocalypse. From now on, I'll adjust the timing so that when I get a bag of coffee, I'll start using it instead of squirreling it away in the freezer, and I'll keep the bag in a cabinet, not the fridge.

Good organic coffee at a good price
Not the best coffee I've ever tasted, but it's good. Of course taste is a very individual thing, so the best thing is to just buy it and try it for yourself. This is a very good price for organic coffee!I always buy organic coffee when I can because they put a lot of chemicals on coffee plants. I lived near a coffee farm once, and they were constantly spraying antifungal and anti-insect type of things on the coffee.Certified organic coffee of course does not have those chemicals, and to me it makes the coffee taste smoother, as well as being better for my body.
