Sturdy chest strap better than original!
I have an expensive Ogio backback and the chest strap broke after a couple of years. This replacement from Oziral worked perfectly! To install, I cut off the original leaving the plastic rings on either side. I took the Oziral strap apart and removed the loose ring. I attached the strap through the side rings and adjusted it to length. The strap was much longer than needed, so I simply cut off equal lengths on each side with sharp scissors, slipped them through the retention clip, and back through for a tidy look. After cutting, the strap, the ends started fraying a bit. To fix, I used a lighter to slightly and evenly melt the ends just like you would with a parachute cord. The straps look fantastic and aren't fraying anymore. Thanks Oziral for a great strap replacement that was fun and easy to install!

Saved my shoulders
This product is amazing. I had bought a new backpack recently and then a shoulder injury made wearing a backpack really strenuous. I thought I’d have to get another backpack but this product saved me so much money. I have to wear a backpack everyday for work and it saved me more than money, but strain and pain. I’m so thankful that someone made this product. It’s so useful and a lifesaver. I don’t love that the straps hang loose but I’ve cut them short and used a lighter to singe the loose threads to make it look neat.

Straps loosen quickly
Straps come loose quickly. They are "fine," but it was annoying that even when fastening them tightly around the backpack straps, they would fall soon after while wearing the backpack and exercising (snowboarding). Each time I took the backpack off, I'd have to readjust the straps again. Wish they stayed tightly in place. Some pulls came broken also, but I didn't buy this for the extra pulls, so that didn't matter too much to me.

Lots of extra strap so it will fit a variety of people. Good quality. Serves its purpose
I purchased this in order to replace the chest strap on my hiking day pack as well as add 1 to a backpack diaper bag. It stays perfectly in place on the day pack but slides down on the diaper bag backpack. I think this just happens because of the material of the backpacks. It's still helpful but I do plan on playing around to see if I can get it to stay in place so it's easier to clip when you need it.Lots of extra strap so it will fit a variety of people. Good quality. Serves its purpose

Awesome Value
The zipper pulls are awesome! Though, if traveling in a dodgy area with potential pickpockets, don't have zipper pulls - Do however use the chest strap! The straps are super easy to put on and are a great backpack upgrade. Unfortunately I left my backpack on the car while I drove off and it got run over by cars several times so I'll need to buy this again. Learn from my mistakes!

Garbage
This has to be the worst sternum strap I've ever used for a couple reasons.1- it won't stay tight. At all. Even tried rolling up the excess strap, but the "tension" buckle releases the moment pressure is put on it.2- it won't stay in place. Even when it's cinched down to the point of pinching the shoulder straps (which would also cause wear and tear to the bag's straps themselves) it will inevitably release the moment the bag is take off, and then fall to the bottom of the strap as seen in the picture.3- the strap is thin and will cut into you, and the buckle is flimsy plastic which will break with little use.I'll be returning this and finding a better one.
