I instealled a bunch of these in some old 6-inch can lights and I am impressed by the amount of light they give off. In some cases it is actually too bright, but the fact that they can be dimmed allows you to adjust for that! These install very easily since (for most cases) you can just twist these in like you would a light bulb. However getting them to stay in place and sit flush up against the ceiling was a bit tricky and I had a few pop out, requiring re-install. Usually when they pop out they end up dangling from the ceiling, still on. However one of them disconnected from the wire and crashed to the floor and came apart into three pieces which were easily re-assembled and put back and it still works! Depending on your original can light the springs that hold it in place might work easily for you or not - in my case they are a bit of a pain where some of them require a few do-overs when they pop out an hour or so after install. I did not subtract a star because I am so impressed in all other areas, and it's a bit understandable that this one-size-fits-all approach may not be perfect for all situations. They look sleek and modern and allow you to choose which bulb color you want, and are again - VERY BRIGHT! They dim well which I feel is critical to be able to use these in many rooms to avoid being too bright.If you don't plan to use a dimmer then I advise being very sure that you are OK with having a 2X-3X brighter light than you are probably used to, the brightness is no joke!

I love these lights for a lot of reasons. First, they are a reasonable price for what you get, yet these are actually worth so much more than others given the amount of light that they shine. The 1700 lumen rating is the highest that I have seen out there. Some are 1200 lumen which is likely enough for some, but when you really want to turn these to 100%, you really sense the difference.Being LED, these are cost saving as well, so buy with confidence knowing that you will see savings every day if you are using older incandescent lighting.The other huge win is that these are white color adjustable. This is huge because there is nothing worse that lights that are mis-matched in color. For me - the warm white setting is perfect.Simple to install. Take off your existing cover, screw out the bulb, screw back in this fixture, and put the springs in place - done! I am buying more!

The LED technology has changed in the few years I have been using them. I was surprised to get this quantity at this price!The construction of the lamp is solid. Good quality, lightweight. It does have the ability to create warm, yellow light as well as cool, white light. There are a few settings in between.Please note, they are advertised as ~1700 Lumens. I do not have the official way to measure this, but they seem 2x brighter than my 800 lumen existing lights.Highly recommended for price to quality value.

These lights have been and easy way of changing out my old lights and modernizing to recessed LEDs.Changing out the lights are very easy and I can change one out in about 15 minutes, making the job of replacing all of my lights in the house a manageable process.The lights themselves give off good light and I have not changed the light spectrum out yet, but it could be fun to try different temperatures to see how the house looks.Overall I'm happy with these

These lights were a breeze to install and look great. Love the different color options and that they are dimmable. The problem is they flicker really badly and we can’t figure out why. It may be an “us” problem and not the lights as the reviews are really good on these. But we’ve tightened all our wires, checked our grounds/neutrals, and are using one of the listed comparable dimmers.. still flickering. I know LEDs can be finicky, and really not sure if it’s the house and wiring or the lights. But something worth noting!

I recently ordered & installed these Sunco 6-inch LED recessed lights, and I'm overall satisfied with the results. The 1700 lumens brightness is impressive, and the dimmable feature lets me adjust the lighting to fit different moods. They have updated our many older bulb style cans to a more modern sleek appearance.The selectable color temperature is convenient—choosing between warm and cool light is easy. Installation was straightforward, and they fit perfectly into my existing recessed cans.They are constructed from mostly plastic but seem durable enough for ceiling use.Overall, these lights are an excellent choice for versatile lighting.

These are awesome recessed lights! Easy to install, especially since they are a one-piece unit that includes the baffle, trim, light, and plug. Only the springs need to be installed, but that's easy, and the helpful label on the side makes sure of that (see photo). We installed these lights in our kitchen and surprisingly, they worked with the existing dimmer switch. However, they do not work with the existing dimmer switch in our family room - which is probably an older unit and we just need to replace that.There are four light colors to choose from, and we chose the most "warm" setting. Still, the lights are very bright, which is great for task lighting in my kitchen. However, they too bright to create a pleasant ambience - a dimmer is definitely needed. The light fixtures themselves are much more modern and attractive than the old style lights that reveal the hole in the baffle and bulb (see photos). Overall, I am very satisfied with these lights.
