Lackluster Bass
I bought these to pair with an old set of Yamaha HS50Ms that I have. The bass response on this sub is very lackluster. To get any noticeable bass, the sub has to be pushed hard, which in turn forces my monitor volume to be painfully loud. I was hoping for better bass response at lower volumes, but once I matched the levels, the monitors were turned down to the point where it just doesn’t make sense.

You need other cables! & Audio interface to connect to other speakers.
It is great BUT FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW THERES A VIDEO ON YOUTUBE THAT THE GUY SAYS ALL YOU NEED IS WHAT COMES WITH THE PRODUCT THATS INCORRECT! YOU NEED separate cables IRS male ends you need 2 pairs that's 4 cords with a audio interface!!! Be warned I almost returned it but I knew I was missing cables so once I got them the magic came alive!!! Your welcome in advance.

Punchy and compact!
This sub is a great value. It connects easily and packs the punch that my Mackey monitors just don't have.

Hard to use in a office.
Underwhelming bass expansion. I had a devil of a time trying to find a spot in my office which didn't have a dead spot or constructive interference (boominess) which I attribute to the port design. I think it would be better for a larger room where the port design may be more forgiving. I ended up getting the competitor, and beware the high pass filter is fixed at 80Hz (not entirely unusual at this price) but if you are using it with PC/studio monitors be aware that the monitor should have decent extension for the overlap in the roll off. Personally if I had to do it again I would go with RSL setup versus the Kali and separate sub, however that would have required an external amp for speakers. The manual was sort of stupid, I could not figure if it was a joke or real but at least they had a circuit diagram which I could look at in the absence of real data. It is a shame in these days getting real data is practically impossible, but the diagram was a nice touch and could figure it out pretty quickly, and saved mt the high pass guessing.I tried RCA and TRS/balanced there was a fair bit of amp isolation issues and noise and had to put in an isolator to mitigate, and neither input really helped so I chalk this up to the amp design itself. The remote sub control was awesome tho.

Very Low bass response
I’ve tried everything to get a decent response out of this subwoofer but it barely puts out anything. It is absolutely awful don’t waste your money. The sub literally put out very little if any bass response at all and i have. I’ve tried everything and with different connections and it still the same….Something is wrong with this subwoofer Mackie
