This is one of those purchase that you need to research and research and even then you just have to go with it. With so many foam mattresses out there and many others offering free trials it is hard to understand the price differences and know what to do.In summary - I bought one, loved it, gave it to my daughter, treated myself to an expensive 'upgrade' (Emma Mattress for £600), hated the Emma, returned it and bought another one of these. Very happy now!In detail:So I thought I was going to emigrate and so didn't want to spend a lot on a mattress while in-between things. Hence purchasing this lower priced mattress. Having read a lot of reviews and given the time I would need it it seemed like a decent punt. My wife has pelvic girdle pain, previously called symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD) (thanks kids!) and needs a good mattress to be comfortable and allow her to side sleep without putting too much pressure on her hips. This mattress provides the best sleep she has ever had since having the condition. Our previous mattress was a very expensive Sealey mattress and it just doesn't compare.Our move since got cancelled so we have moved within the UK and my rapidly approaching teenage years daughter needed a new bed. I decided to give her our bed and mattress so we could upgrade and get a premium mattress (if sleep was this good on a budget foam one then who could imagine what a premium one might offer!!).And so we purchased the Emma mattress... biggest mistake ever. Not only was the customer service terrible, but it was far too firm. We enacted the free trial period return and fortunately were able to do so. I immediately bought another one of these and am so happy to be back on it!I have paired this mattress with a good solid pine based bed. I would recommend this or a divan because it is a little shallower then some of the premium mattresses. It is not too firm and so benefits from being on a good firm base.I've not experienced a single issue with heat/overheating and I am generally a hot person!The mattress absorbs movement perfectly, so no issues with disturbing each other in the night, and it is of course silent too.The mattress is soo much lighter than other mattresses and easy to manoeuvre.Overall I cannot say how pleased I am with this. Great price and highly recommended.

At first it took me a little while to adjust to this mattress, but it does with all mattresses, especially ones that have excellent support.I had been sleeping on it for 2 months and was just about ready to take them up on their money back guarantee when we suddenly seemed to understand each other and I slept so comfortably on my side. I have had numerous back troubles and usually find uncomfortable pressure on my hip when side sleeping and find that does not happen at all with this mattress. It feels like the weight is transferred evenly across the side of my body and I wake without stiffness or sore spots. Would this be the same with the thinner model? Perhaps not, but this thickness is perfect and the thicker would benefit those who are heavier in my opinion. The mattress has a high-end, luxurious washable cover and I love the dimpled 'egg box' texture of the memory foam that I sink in to, comfy without overheating. I have been sleeping on this mattress for 4 months now and could not part with it, the structure and integrity is still intact without any dipping or breaking down of the edges and I highly recommend it to those who find sleeping generally uncomfortable. I haven't tried the very expensive brands of this type, but I'm certain they can't be much different. The mattress did not have to be aired for the recommended time, just given a few hours for the layers to plump out. There was no odour, I have seen that some memory foams have a chemical/solvent smell and this does not. It is not a soft mattress, it is a supportive mattress with a comfy layer to lie on.

Certainly better than the cheaper ones,not bumpy or tossy,some people might prefer a topper which will make a high end mattress without throwing few hundreds on some common branded ones

Good quality mattress with washable cover.Very comfortable if lying on your side but quite hard if lying on your back.Medium to firm, but I would say defo firm.Hopefully will soften through time

The media could not be loaded.  Fantastic. I had a different memory mattress long time ago and that one was like a concrete so it put me off memory foam mattresses for years! I was very hesitant to get memory mattress ever again.But I chose this one lightheartedly for the single bed in the spare room thinking - if it’s too firm it’s gonna be totally fine because it is only for a day bed.But this mattress is completely on another level!It feels so relaxing to lay down on it. Even for a mini nap or reset through the day. It encapsulates you in softness whilst still staying supportive. It is like entering a destress zone.It comes vacuum packed and I was sceptical whether it reaches the promised hight evenly and I didn’t even have to wait the required time, it seemed fully expanded overnight. In warmer room, resting on the plastic cover underneath.I picked it based on the price, bamboo picture cover, I liked the bobbly bits foam in the first layer and on the reviews.I read somewhere that people who are light weight (I am 58kg) need softer mattress to cushion them and heavier people slightly medium firm so they don’t sink deep as much and get the needed support.My partner (85kg) is now saying why we didn’t get this way cheaper and softer cozy mattress for our master bedroom!?I can see how picking the mattress is very individual choice and no matter the reviews people will always have different perceptions. So depending on what you sleep on right now this mattress will either feel softer to you or harder. And no ‘medium firm’ mattresses are the same, believe me.If you are used to springs memory one will feel strange at first because it doesn’t bounce like a spring mattress.And yes, memory foam mattress will make you feel a bit warmer. Combined with fluffy bedding and fluffy bed sheet I was sweating in a cold spare room in November sleeping naked.I can see reordering this again in the future for our double bed.
